Ever wondered who were the deadliest pilots at any one particular time during the Great War? Yes, we all know who were the top scoring pilots of the War, but not all of them flew at the same time, nor were they necessarily the most proficient killers in any one particular month.
So for interest sake (mine really
) I sat down and started listing who scored how many and in what month. So far have completed 1915 and almost completed 1916. The basis of the ace list is drawn from The Aerodrome. Think it may surprise a few people, especially these two years, when French and German aces dominated, not so much the British.
I originally formatted it in .ods form (LibreOffice, a really useful tool). But have had to convert it to .pdf to post here.
If I have missed anyone please let me know and I'll correct the List.
