I found this video with some background on the recording of "Comfortably Numb." Most Pink Floyd fans probably know at least some of the story, but I thought this was interesting:

I know music taste is subjective but "Comfortably Numb" is one of those "perfect" songs that I can listen to hundreds of times and never get tired of it. This is a song that people will still be listening to 100 years from now.

The FULL guitar solo in the Knack's My Sharona is absolutely one of the best rock guitar solos ever. I used to want to scream when radio stations would cut a big part of it out to fit into a short time line. The Knack was a very tight and talented band thru and thru. They just got lumped into the bumble gum rock genre.

I think this applies to much of Pink Floyd's music. Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here etc.
Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.
