I just installed the beta this afternoon. What would you guys say are the best maps to own? Please don't say all of them, the budget is tight smile I have NTTR.

I'm not interested in the WW2 stuff but whilst the sale is on I might top-up with a few modules.

EV's are the Devils matchbox.

I'd say the Syria map is a must have especially if you like to fly the helicopters.

Syria is an excellent map, but it is a bit more resource intensive than Persian Gulf.

The new clouds look really really good, so it seems like a good update so far.

#%&*$# I can't wait to experience the new weather smile

As far as maps go - Syria is a good map. It hits a spot between dense and fps-hungry (Europe) and sparse and performant (Gulf), but leans more toward performant.

It's been my experience that DCS runs most reliably with 32 GB of RAM. If you only have 16 you will run into issues like crashing to desktop.

I'm not sure if it's hitting everyone, but I have seen some people, including me, lose their joystick mapping.

And the new A-10A cockpit reflections are brutal.
