There is a little AAR coming from my Blowin $h!+ Up mission, if I ever get a chance to write it. Here is a pic I liked from that mission.

I have finally started learning the Spit in DCS. What a Sweet Kite. Once my boy makes his initial banked turn into final, check what a ham he is for the camera, looking right at you soaking up the attention of the chase plane filming him. cool

Thanks Trooper. winkngrin

I am proud to present my first offering of a film I made using DCS as the source. I recorded this track from a fictional mission I flew of an Aerodrome transfer from Detling to Lympne. I have been learning to use the video editor Shotcut for maybe 20 hours or less and this is my first attempt to make a film from beginning to end as a coherent project. I created three Shadowplay recordings from the original DCS Track and then did all of the editing and effects myself using bits and pieces and the magic of what I think is a pretty decent video editor. I hope you enjoy it, and any constructive critique, tips or suggestions are welcome. It is recorded in 5.1 surround and at 2560x1440 video resolution at 60fps, so if your monitor supports it and you have 5.1, CRANK IT UP! yep Be forewarned that at about the 3/4 mark I reopen the canopy of the Spitty and that Merlin gets a bit loud. biggrin Argh! Argh! Argh! raw HORSEPOWER!!! thumbsup
So, with no further ado' , I Present,
popcorn

Transfer To Lympne

Thanks Trooper. I love the sounds, especially the Spitfire backfires and the external sound during the flybys. I think DCS has the best flyby plane sounds of almost any sim. Maybe CLOD/DWT rivals it closely. I will be working on some combat vids, and I am actually working on an ROF N11 line patrol mission, early morning, that had some good combat and a surprise I didn't see coming at the end of the mission. it is actually really fun using Shotcut and creating a movie, but time consuming. Thanks for your feedback, I am glad you like it. thumbsup

Thank you Barkhorn1x. I got your new Belgium files for PWCG in ROF and will be revisiting that campaign soon. I have been learning the Spitty in DCS(and the I16! Love that little beast yep ) in preparation for the Operation Epsom Campaign, finally, and having a lot of fun while doing so. DCS just has a different twist, it just looks so good, but it really takes some effort to set the HOTAS, learn the plane and become proficient. Maybe another week or so and then I will get a week at the most out of the Campaign and then I will be done with it because there is nothing else to do besides quick missions or a SP mission posted here and there on the ED Forums. Don't get me wrong, it is fun and great to learn, but after all of the effort, there is really little content. I really hope Ed pushes out the Dynamic Campaign Generator that they keep dropping hints about, but I am not holding my breath. Enjoy some of the fantastic DCS eye candy.

Fighting the K4 in the I16 is no easy feat.
[Linked Image]

I did manage to get some hits in, but those 7.62s just don't pack much of a punch even with exploding rounds. I did pepper the K4 quite a bit but she just kept on sailing until I hit some trees while trying to get greedy cutting a turn. duh
