When I try to extract the file WOFFBaHIIBuildP6.zip with 7Zip I get the following error. Any help is appreciated.

You have to use 7zip or another similar program to unpack that zip file. Oops, just saw your first post. My guess, your download is corrupted. Try downloading again, if it was me. Why is the top 'bin' file showing in your first picture? Was the download finished? Something doesn't look right there.

I think that bin file was just a previous attempt at extraction. I will redownload.

I probably should have posted this in Technical Issues thread.

This is the file size advertised on the store page, 9.55 GB (10,262,728,607 bytes) as reported by Windows. I am sure Pol will be along in the A.M.

It seems to me that when your download is completed that there should only be the zip file. If I remember correctly that bin file is part of the download process and will disappear once the zip download is complete.

OK. There was a disturbance in my original download now that I think about it.
Unfortunately I live in Hooterville, it will take 2 hours to download.

The download stopped at 2.5 GB again. My internet seems fine with my browser. Odd.

I'm going to try Microsoft Edge instead of Chrome.

I think I saw that Pol said somewhere to use WinRar if 7-Zip has a problem with the file. Try that.

Hi

The servers have sent the file out many times with no issues so likely a problem with your ISP or something along the route disconnecting you.
Check the file size is correct (thanks Blade);
9.55 GB (10,262,728,607 bytes) as reported by Windows. Right click on it, Properties, to view that.

If it has not downloaded properly, try the alternative download location (Press CTRl+F5 when in the download link window). See how that goes. Also don't leave the PC unattended, maybe every half hour or so (using a different instance of the web browser) open a different website or refresh something, perhaps something thinks your PC is inactive after a while. Be careful not to close the download window.

7zip as Buckeye has said, seems to have a problem with large files like this. Try using Winrar instead from www.rarlabs.com, Download page.
direct;
https://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-601.exe
You can evaluate for 1 month.

I downloaded (Microsoft Edge) overnight, it stopped at 7 GB for some reason. I resumed the download and it froze at 9.5 GB for a couple of minutes, but finally completed on its own. Right click/properties shows the desired file size ....

When opening the Winrar file I get this error...

I have downloaded Firefox and will give it a try, as per Blade_Meister's advice.

Did you try the Alternative download location?

Is your drive free from errors? Scan it for errors please.

It seems to be stopping at all sorts of different places, part complete. Some strange randomness. Also could be down to memory when unpacking, if you unzip the last file you got, does it fail at the same place everytime or different?

First attempt with Firefox resulting with the download manager stopping ay 2.5 GB and froze.
I will try Polovski's recommendation of alternative download location.

I have tried to download multiple times, yet the download page says I have 9 remaining downloads, it does not change.

BTW, I never have trouble with downloads. My son downloads massive games ( COD, RDR2 etc.) all the time without error.

Just tried Chrome again, it stopped at 2.5GB.
I'm sorry, but I am going to ask for a refund via PayPal. I was going to PM you Polovski, but you do not accept PMs it says.
I am disappointed. I am a good customer of yours, I have bought WOTR multiple times, due to lost backups.

I tend to think it is their secure2checkout host (I had problems just getting a nice sustained connection (and suffered through terrible speed - though alternative link helped quite a bit) - obviously you are losing connection before it is completed and are trying to unzip a incomplete zip file.

Before you give up, why don't you try a download manager? - there are a number of free tools/utilities out there that could help you out.

I have tried to download in now probably 8 or 9 times. I've used Chrome. Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Unfortunately none of them support pausing/ continuing of downloads after the respective browsers are closed.
I did a bit of a search on DL managers, but I have no idea what is a good free one, or is not bloat wear.

Actually the completed download is the correct size.
