I suspect that the "tartypes.str" file in the Palestine theatre may have been causing sudden crashes to the desktop, so I have extended it and the patch replaces it with the extended version. As I needed to make the patch I have added the latest versions of the UAW160 eaw exes, and new section for Palestine in the "MPData160" folder, with updated scripts

I guess this is good a place as any to bring up an observation.
While putting together the Russian front aircraft I'm making, many of them are going to be multi-skins.
To check the multi-skins in the game I load a single mission and set the number of planes to 16 because that's the number of multi-skins we normally produce.
The problem is that I now can only increase the number to 12 in some slots, after that the selection states "random". In other slots it still allows 16 before stating "random". FWIW, it the past there have been cases where the number could be increased all the way to 99 but I'm not seeing that now.
This is with the March16thOldMapV4 and March16thNewMapV4 exec.
Maybe I missed a memo along the way but I though I'd point it out.
I have been checking this out and if you only need 16 then make sure the mission is an escort. There is a heap of code that limits the maximum based on the mission type.

What about bombers? They don't have an "escort" option.
What I see with them is a start number of nine and when you increase the number of planes it goes up by three, not one. Plus, you can run the number all the way up to 99.
