Just adding to that if I need to set up a single mission in Windows 7 I can run EAW in the d3d windower to get the map to set the targets and bases, and then fly. My frame-rates will be about 30 fps, which is OK, but if I want better ones I exit straight away after take-off. The mission is automatically saved so I can launch EAW again immediately without the d3dWindower, select the same plane and fly with framerates of 60 fps in 1920x1080
