Just flown my first mission in the rain. I noticed an opaque disk in front of the aircraft which moved as the POV moved. It was only visible from the front except when I landed it was above the aircraft.
It's clearly something to do with where the rain effects are coming from because when the rain wasn't coming at your POV you couldn't see the disk.
This mission was early morning so quite dark. When I flew a daytime mission in the rain I couldn't see the disk, so it must only be in certain shades of light when it's visible.

Noticed something similar myself on the 2nd I think Captain triggers training mission (dark, raining) I forgot to take a shot, il see if I can replicate later pal.

No need for more screenshots, it's how the sim engine renders that particular effect with certain conditions currently.
