Its pretty good folks..Everything oozes quality
I cannot think of a better way to put it, Adger. I'm blown away by the sheer polish of WOFF - it's another level up from where we were with PE. It shows from the initial loading screen all the way through to the end of a sortie (successful or not!). I'm utterly gobsmacked. I've been playing WWI games since I picked up a demo of Wings of Glory in a copy of PC Gamer Magazine in 1994? 95? Still have three versions of Red Baron kicking around on the hard drive. I'm audibly ooing and ahhing over this one! The map is gorgeous, I LOVE the goggles effect - wasn't sure how I was going to feel when I saw the screenshot for it but man it WORKS for immersion in sim - I love the new sounds, it really feels even more alive now, especially the engines. The visible flight model of your fellow airmen is breathtaking - you can tell when you're struggling on a blustery day! What can I say? It's just fabulous - can't stop playing it right now!
Cheers!
PS: Nearly forgot: The music! Matt you've done some exceptional work adding onto an already impressive score! And the ability to change out your allocated machine. And your ability to re-enlist. And the gorgeous color photographs that pop in between loading screens. And... and...!
So good guys!
