I was looking at the Sopwith Snipe for T C R Baker this morning and comparing it to my Wings of War/Glory miniature for the same pilot. I am amazed at the similarity and was wondering where the source files come from for the skins in our sim?

I have 3 friends that I play Wings of Glory with each Tuesday evening and I do love looking at WoFF for inspiration. Great work guys.

Many many sources. Profiles in journals, books, authors and artists such as DSA, Bob Pearson and Ronny Bar to name a few. But at the root, contemporary photos and written descriptions.

I second what Shredder said.

Years and years and years of compiling all kinds of sources.... weeding through them, then finding more, and more.. and thankfully, even more.

What's crazy is finding out that a plane was borrowed, or given to someone else... finding markings painted over from other squadrons (Jastas)... it's really a never-ending process for us to try as hard as we possibly can to get it right.
