While we anxiously await the release of BHaH2, anyone fancy a pool?
The poster who guesses closest to the actual release day and time wins...?
My entry is 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time April 7th.

“Not quite there yet” isn’t particularly indicative of very soon. Today might be doubtful at this rate tbh. Idk if 2Checkout even works weekends, so assuming they don’t that leaves us with 3 more days this week.
By a guess, 3 days doesn’t fall into “not quite there yet” territory so it’s probably next Thursday. Why Thursday I don’t know. It seems late enough

Thank you Lt Casy and VonS for your kind answers... Von S : Seems not too difficult for me although your "happy tinkering " sounds quite oxymoric for me. In fact , if I understand correctly, both versions cannot coexist being both "active". there can be only one active version while the other(s) have to be neutralized. (because CFS3.exe loks for the one installed with the correct labelling I suppose). Precisely this - always have only one of your WOFF installs activated, with others deactivated - that way only the correctly labelled install will activate once you open WOFF.exe in that correctly labelled install. Cheers, Von S P.S. The "happy tinkering" may indeed be oxymoronic to fresh modders and non-modders; after several yrs. of modding one becomes numb to the oxymoronic part of the statement.

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile ( https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~

Given all the proper distributors like Steam or GOG don't like the the whole CFS3 situation, it is indeed 2late.
Honestly, what's taking them so long. Perhaps they're sitting there going "we are 2lazy to bother with this flying pew pew game?", hah.

At the risk of having any number of catcalls and brickbats thrown in my general direction, I note that Flying Circus vol. 1 is currently on sale for $19.99 on the IL-2 web page.
With 2Checkout still dragging their feet, I am tempted, very tempted....

I must appreciate the irony in this. Lots of players waiting to throw money at the devs, and devs waiting to have money thrown at them. And then the distributor who exists.

Ah, of course. How could I, hah! How about a ratatatata flying game? With a splash of kaboom and wrrrrrrrrrrr-BADUUM on top of it for dives ending in crashes? As a kid I used to read Air Ace picture library and always remember the text they used for sound effects: Machine gun - rat a tat tat tat Pistol - blam blam Cannon - buuda buuda Artillery firing - kblam or krackow Shells exploding - crumpf or kaboom or wump Bullit richochet - titzing Germans dying - mien gott Japanese dying - Aieeeeeeee British dying - Aaargh Some of the words uttered by the hero: Take this you square headed sausage eating Hun. Take this you slant eyed son of Nippon And of course the hero bomber pilot: Good grief, the old kites coped one, she's going down, can't, can't hold her chaps, this is it, tell Mary I love her - Aaarghhhhhhh Mike
