m honestly deleted it, will only play on the backburner when i fileld my quota of unplayed games, by then maybe my rage will subdue and they will give a discount for previous owners when they inevitably release a remake in the future or a new one with the stuff this one was suposed to get.

I suspect it'll take them as many as 2 more full game releases to produce something that actually lives up to the hype.

In the meantime, I hope for a killer full conversion mod made by fans of the genre.

I played about 2 hours of the game last night and my frame rate was no different from before. I still have a ton of side jobs and police scanner hustles to do so I’ll get more testing done eventually.

Thanks PM.

I actually tried to get it refunded a few days ago, telling them that waiting for more patches I had no patience for - well, that didn't work out, since I had "owened the game for too long" (never having played it.

Kind of a shame, I love the Witcher 3, and I was expecting the same kind of epic entertainment from Cyberpunk. Maybe I shouldn't have read all the reviews, but it's a point where I find it hard to get the interest and install it... especially since thjey (GOG) made the download unnecessary large by including all language files (30GB of extra download).

It's interesting you mention Deus Ex because there are quite a few similarities between Cyberpunk 2077 and the Deus Ex series. The major ones of course being the use of cybernetic augmentations and the futuristic dystopian world.

You're welcome. I'm hoping to get a decent performance boost when I get my new gaming PC later this year.

Although I’m kinda enjoying the game I’m really glad I didn’t buy it, I got a loan from my son, if I’d bought it I think I’d be disappointed, thought it would be more GTA but it feels really short and is clearly an early access title.

The premise of this article makes perfect sense to me. How many new sales of the game can CDPR expect by this point? I bet you it would be a drop in the bucket compared to what they sold a couple of weeks after release.

Maybe, but Witcher 3 was pretty broken on release and once they fixed it up and added some expansions it sold like hotcakes for years.

Ah I didn't know that. I didn't play Witcher 3 until there was that special deal on Steam where you could get all three Witcher games in one bundle.

w3 and w2 were bug as hell on release but they were complete games even if w3 got a graphical downgrade because of xbox poor machine, cp77 is not a full game as said above its a early acess title that got choped down from everything they anounced, and now everything leads to prove me right, they will fix their obligation patches and leave it to rot. They arent going to spend money to no man sky this, witcher 3 blogs showed stuff actually made into the game, cyberpunk is just fluffy with the excuse that game change in development.....yeah sure.
At best we get a new game with the mechanics they promised on this, but good luck with sales on that one, i doubt the dlcs or expansions are coming either, so return good faith they would need to add back the missing 6 months side gigs from montage into a FREE dlc.
They already anounced they wont be doing mp on 77 and that their next game will be anounced closer to release, you know, to keep us in the dark of changes like this. congratulations, they just became EA.

At this point I would prefer they concentrate on a sequel than put too much more of their limited resources into trying to fix a structurally flawed effort.

Is anyone here still playing this game like I am? LOL

I've finished the main storyline so I'm basically achievement-hunting now.

I've beaten it and got many of the achievements. I'll wait for another patch or two before replaying in a different style.

I finished it, and no plans to replay unless there are expansions or DLC that bring me back. Back stories are so barebones that I don't feel compelled to do a second run as very little would change.

I can certainly understand your view and besides, a lot of gamers also just look up the alternate story endings on Youtube so they don't have to replay the game. biggrin
