So for the sake of comparison, while I enjoyed the story and characters in Cyberpunk 2077, it wasn't on the same high level as the story and characters in Witcher 3. Perhaps what made all the difference here is that the WItcher had the advantage of having several books as a foundation? is there a Cyberpunk 2077 novel? If there is I've never heard of it.

Cyberpunk 2077 is based on the pen an paper RPG that only covers 2013-2045 in any sort of depth, with most of the lore being oriented towards edgy angsty worldbuilding rather than focusing on pre-existing characters that relatively few players will get involved with in the course of their games.

There are apparently some Cyberpunk 2020 based novels, but they're terrible from what I've heard, the real Cyberpunk novels would be the works of authors like William Gibson.

For my second playthrough I think I'll go the "street kid" route and play it more "Mr. Tough Guy" instead of being "Mr. Nice Guy" all the time with my decisions.

enjoy being disapointed,
it changes nothing. you only get a different extra line of dialogue, outcomes are always the same

Yikes. Thanks for that info Blade. That really does limit the replayability for sure.

Each sidequest has different end points, be a dick/be nice. Few of them go beyond the reward and your personal RP choice, but there is certainly a different tone from playing differently.

Different tone is a different experience. Even if the 'result' is largely the same.

not for me....colt45 made me aware of dragon age origins......give me that freedom of choice or dont call your self rpg. even assassin creed odyssey had more freedom of choice and end result than cp77,both in the side quests and the missions.

Hi guys, hope your all doin 👌 I’ve just started playing this on the PS4 pro and thankfully haven’t had any game breaking bugs, “crosses fingers” lol. I play with most of the HUD off, apart from minimap, health etc. Thing is when I throw a grenade of any kind it now has a large red semi circle depicting the radius I presume.

Don’t know what I pressed to get it on but would love it off, been through settings a dozen times and can’t find out how to switch it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys, ta.

Mick 👍

Edit, it wasn’t there the other day so I must have pressed something, just can’t fathom how to get rid of it.

That's a Technical skill called Grenadier if I recall. Did you choose this perk?

I did and I liked having it on.

I haven't played it since the update yet but this latest mega-patch was almost 29 GB! I'm looking forward to seeing what has been improved and fixed.

if you finished the game nothing of matter to you, only background bugs, and a few fixes that should already be there, but jack still goes through the door on prologue, some people are claiming they cant interact with the med evac on prologue so they cant progress, bugs in save files WILL REMAIN on them. you need to load a earlier save,
also quick hacks now alert everyone in the network......this is clearly a bug they introduced.

Thanks for that info Blade and yes, I already finished the main story. I'm just now going around and doing police scanner and side gigs so I can get those achievements. I also want to buy the remaining available cars.

If someone has information about performance (FPS) post the 1.2 patch, I'd be curious.

I've been waiting for this before getting into the game, but keep hearing it makes performance even worse.

Did they fix the problems in this yet? Is it less like GTA now?

The thing I hate the most about GTA games is milling about waiting for the next mission to drop, with nothing to do. That drives me insane. I want a completely interactive world like Kingdom Come Deliverance, where I can go and do as I please. Did they fix that part of Cyberpunk yet?

Looks like I have, thought it was in the settings, pity I can’t have it un equipped, enjoying the game so far though.

I might shelve the game and start a fresh playthrough when all the patches and DLC are in, which will probably be another year at this rate.

Once I finish 100% of the side gigs and police scanner jobs I'll keep the game on ice until I get my new gaming rig at the end of the year. I'll then replay it as a "street kid".

Haha well the description says

The explosion radius of all grenades is visible

Tech was one of the trees I went heavily in to. Lots of good ones in there. I like Grenadier for throwing grenades at groups to initiate the combat. Easy to get three of them when they are standing still with this perk.

I think for 100k credits you can get an item at the Ripper Docs to reset all your skills wink

Thanks for the info guys 👍 I just hadn’t noticed I had gotten one of those perks, sometimes fall asleep when playing, that’s my excuse anyway.😉
