Just plotted second jump, should be back in our usual haunts in 45 or so.

Interesting. smile

Do you have the waypoints for the trip with your FC?
I have another Cutter stored in my FC which can carry Tritium.
How much fuel do you need for the trip and return?

No waypoints. It really sucks that you have to plot each jump individually. I just zoomed out the G map until it displayed a sort of globe shaped field of stars around my current location. Then, I dragged the cursor it the direction I wanted to go. Guessing where 500 ly was, I picked a star. After a while, I’d find one as close to 500 and jump there. Rinse and repeat until I reached final destination. Took 4 jumps out and 4 back.

Honestly, I’m kinda surprised no one has created a 3rd party tool for multi waypoint route plotting for FC’s yet.

As for fuel, I had a full tank upon departure. On the return trip I ran it down to around 2-300 tons and topped it off from reserves I had in cargo aboard the carrier. Prolly used somewhere in the neighborhood of 1k tons. Wasn’t really tracking it, so take with copious amounts of skepticism.

Thx for the answer.

I did a little searching and found this route plotter:

https://spansh.co.uk/fleet-carrier/...amp;tritium_market=0&used_capacity=0

May be I will give this a go later today.
I am not sure if the TOW of the FC will affect the jump range. I plan to store 2 Cutters in it. One for mining and SRV`s, and one for carrying extra Tritium if necessary.

In fact, I just did a plot of the first jump in my FC just now, and I believe this will work.
The calculator even tells you how much remaining fuel you have so that`s good.

Nice, thanx for the link. I think TOW only affects the amount of fuel, range is always max 500. I had my fleet of 11 (?), one of Wingnuts ships, one of Jame’s vessels, and 2-3k tons of Tritium plus a few tons of assorted cargo stored on my FC. If I recall, with all services mounted except Black Market, around 23k of the total capacity of 25k.

Now that I think on it, I might have used that or some similar tool when I took the FC to Colonia.

I think I`m all set now.
I activated a couple of more services and I am waiting for my Krait to arrive.
I let my cargo Cutter collect some 500 tons of Tritium.
I also visited the various traders to balance my inventory just to avoid having full reservoirs.
May be it`s a good idea to fill up with limpets.
So while I am watching the game tonight, King Olav V will be on his way. biggrin

I assume you’re off to the Crystalline Shard locations? I was filling each storage in about an hour per. What I did before heading out was to trade all my highest grade for Selenium, since that is the only one not available at dedicated site. Next time, I’ll finish off filling Selenium and use the rest to fill up the lower grades. Don’t really enjoy surface prospecting, so I’m willing to pay the usurious rates at the mat traders.

Going to HIP 36601.
Thanks for the tip, but I am halfway there.
Yeah I see what you mean. I have only 1 unit of Selenium so my mind should`ve been clearer. smile
Anyway, I learn something new every day. If not I would be playing something else.

Ever since I started carrying 5 limpets on my Krait, the non-mineral mats have been pretty easy to come by, save for the top grade. Imagine limpets on SRVs...

I once spent an hour or two at a nav beacon popping every single ship that showed up, type 6 or bigger, in an anarchy system and loaded up.

One of the crew actually tested to see if a limpet would pick up mats off the surface. Alas, those mindless drone just kamikazied. We also tested the see if an airborne ship would kill Guarian Sentinels and destructible panels ( that DOES work ).

I farm at Anarchy systems frequently. Almost feel guilty popping T9’s and such.

No slots available for my FC in HIP 36601 for the moment. Don`t know for how long.
Sent out one ship to the system and found an available system 10.5 LY away and directed my FC there. OUTOTZ IY-H D10-3. Anarchy system. I`ll use that as a base for the moment.
Anybody had a problem with slots?

Yup, seems all popular systems have the FC blight these days. I parked mine 16 ly away, no biggie.

On the bright side, Bo parked right at the second system (Outotz) very convenient that.

Yup, the second target system has plenty of room. Not to mention, the only 2 bodies were right next to a each other.
