I only got the first ArmA on DVD. Starting with Arma 2 it was all digital download.

1. NBA 2k15, actually no, it was a card with a Steam key inside the box. At this time my internet connection was terribly bad, so I was realy disapointed; it took me one week to download the game.
A real 100% hardcopy, I don't remember, maybe Wings Over Flanders Fields, or ArmA 2.

2. Red Hot album called Stadium Arcadium, maybe in 2006/07 but I could be wrong. I'm not a big music consumer.

3. 2016 A Bridge Too Far on blue ray.

4. A looooong time ago, a pc gamer magazine called Joystick in mid 2000's

5. I never bought newspaper.

When's the last time has everyone rented a physical movie?

For me it was back in 2007, and then only because I was going to move at the time and had cancelled my internet, before that it was 2004.

I believe for me it was around 2004 from my local Blockbuster. In 2005 I got Netflix and the rest as they say is history.

1. A PC game - Can't recall, a long time ago.

2. A music album - Can't recall, a long time ago

3. A movie or tv series - this I do all the time - I like the reliability of physical media. I get Blu-ray or Blu-ray 4K disks

4. A magazine - I actually have a subscription to a physical car magazine for like $5.00/year, so it just doesn't seem like it's worth canceling.

5. A newspaper - A very, very long time ago

My Dad has had a subscription to Smithsonian Air and Space and Smithsonian magazine for years. It took way too much effort to finally get them to take him off of auto-renewal subscription. He now just sends them a check for like $12 once a year. Now they send him a letter almost ever month telling him his subscription is about to runout and he needs to renew it right away. I can just imagine how many seniors fall for that. He decided to stop the Smithsonian Magazine subscription because it had gone way to the left with their over the top woke articles. Funny thing is, they just keep sending it to him anyways. It goes right in the garbage.

Same thing has happened with National Geographic.

I remember as a kid we would save the National Geographic magazines for a long time because they were classics. Popular Science and Discover magazine were great too.

I have a hardcopy of ARMA 10th anniversary. Although I have rebought it on Steam just for convenience. No patching, and my PC does not have a DVD drive.

1. A PC game - Steam early adopter here. Never bought a hard copy ever since - probably 2004

2. A music album - A week ago. Vinyl, a gift. Otherwise, Tidal subscription keeps me happy.

3. A movie or tv series - Blu-ray disks now and then. Movies only, I detest all recent TV Series - besides Chernobyl.

4. A magazine - can’t remember

5. A newspaper - Apple Daily, every week day. A Hong Kong tabloid, the only anti-CCP Chinese print media left standing in the territory.

Cheers,
Slug

Off on a tangent; when was the last time anyone wrote a cheque?
I received a refund recently for Road Tax on a sold vehicle by cheque, filling in a paying-in slip i noticed the last date of me issuing a cheque was 2010!

As to all the questions Panzer polled....so long ago that i can't recall, except newspapers.
And that was only because my Mother in Law who came to live with us insisted on having her Daily Mail which I had to complete a six-mile round trip to obtain daily until her death in 2018

The last time I wrote out a printed check was probably around 2008.

My wife was a Mathematician by training/trade. She loved to do all the books/taxes by hand -- as she had for more than half a century. Including checks. So, I didn't write checks smile

As of a year ago, we're on-line like the rest of the world. We're still behind the times because not all our bills are on auto-pay. Checks only when no other option smile

I use auto pay for as much as I can.

I hate wasting time doing redundant things.

Auto-pay is great assuming the person doesn't live paycheck to paycheck or they have enough of a cushion in their accounts in case some major unforeseen expense occurs.

Auto pay can be useful. It is the auto renewal for many subscriptions (magazine or service) that is suspect. Many just set it up as auto-renewal without saying so up front. And many make it very difficult to turn it off.
