Hi, I have a problem with no water in my rivers. I had some other issues with fps but they have improved after reinstalling the game with the anti virus off [but lost all my pilots].
I thought everything was ok after reinstall, and started with RNAS 3. I was commander by the time I got posted next to the Somme, to see empty rivers again.
Where do I find the file with pilot info ?, so I can copy that file before I start another install.
The best WW1 sim out there. I've spent a few hundred hours on this [as I have with the other 2 main contenders], this one is much more immersive, Well done.
But dark green stripy dry rivers just look wrong. I have the PE version, will try to remember to see if its working just on UE. I've never played UE before so can't compare.

As with most of the MODS, just refers to UE. Do I just assume that all stuff listed as UE is compatible with PE ?.
Not so on JSGME, I have 7 mods but only 2 do anything.

The "User files Backup Utility" is not a mod and works for all versions of WOFF that are currently out there.

Thanks, but now I've got a bigger problem. Just uninstalled it and now I can't find the first zip to reinstall it. I still have all the music, skins and patches up to PE patch v5.04. But starting at UE patch v4.24, so looks like I've lost the 1st one.
I have reinstalled it before with no problems, I never get rid of zip files, can't understand where it went.
Anyhow I read somewhere that there is a charge to download stuff again. That will be ok, how do I go about it ?.

Have you checked if your ant-virus didn’t quarantine your zips? It’s a fashionable thing to do in this day and age.

No nothing I can see in Norton, or anywhere else. And defender is off.

Hello again, I had to download UE again, backed up on mem' stick now.
Just one thing, This is my 3rd install, followed the PDA instructions but still no blue in the rivers. The sea and lakes are blue. I can't find anything on YouTube with a river in the background. Dose the game have blue rivers ??.
I've tried the rivers MOD, maybe it's smoothed the edges a bit but still no blue.

Unfortunately, this is what appears to be an ongoing issue with AMD's latest drivers and this sim. Re-installing won't help.

You can look over all the threads posted above, but in a nutshell anyone running a newer AMD GPU (5000 or 6000 series) is reporting similar texture issues. As per the link above, it's been reported to AMD, but it remains to be seen whether they'll do anything.
