Very well said, catch, very well indeed - no other sim captures this same sort of authentic artistry.

Being an utter dumbass for even asking: I take it BH&H2 will have the features of WOFF/PE alongside the new improvements, and not like, less?

Your absolutely correct in your question mate, all the features of PE and then more on top. There’s no chance of there being less, I can’t wait to see the updates/improvements list when it’s announced.

Which skins are changing in BH&H2?
It seems like I saw a post that indicated that Albatros DI and DII skins were being updated but I can't find it now. Are these the only ones being changed or are there other German planes that will have revised skins? Will there be any changes to British or French skins?
I've been using many additional skins that Sandbagger and Jerbear have released in the past. I intend to continue to use them with BH&H2 unless updated ones for the same aircraft have been included in the new release. Is there any reason that I shouldn't?

Wow have you all seen this pic from BHaH II from Hellshade?, absolutely outstanding pal. What an incredible shot! Nice one Hellshade! I'm very happy to see what it finally looks like in the game. I couldn't see any of the new effects on the cowling metal and what it does to the colors. Thats the Jonathal built Alb D.II. If you fly with Jasta 16b, you'll see the LVG built Alb D.II skin. While flying with Jasta 17 will give you the OAW built Ald D.II. Don't forget to fly the Alb D.I with Jasta 2, 6 or 8. I hope your enjoying the new game! I can't wait!!

Hi,
Im Just curious. Will we be able to transfer profiles to BH&H2? Theoretically this should work - I also look forward to trying it out - should work also for my FM tweaks and the GPU Tuner but I have to do some studying of the stock files in BHAH II once it comes out, to see what needs to be toggled/changed. Will also give it a couple of spins in stock form to see how the FPS hold up without the tuner patch. Exciting testing and mod-compatibility assessment times ahead. Happy flying all, Von S
~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile ( https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~

Quick impressions update. I have had multiple low-level dogfights, one of which lasted several minutes with quite a few planes, and in all those encounters I only witnessed one plane dive into the ground. It was towards the end of the fight and I can't at all be sure it wasn't damage or had a dead pilot as I only caught it at the last second at the corner of my screen. In all likelihood, it was a legitimate kill. I was able to escape one time by hedge hopping, but there was only one plane on my tail and he gave up after a short while.
As for extended AI dives that in previous versions were unable to be followed by players without ripping one's own wings, I can say my impression is things are significantly improved. First, the AI dives themselves seem to be a bit shorter than before. They can still be steep, but they don't seem quite as long as before and for the most part, I am able to keep up if I'm careful with my throttle and angle of descent. It feels like it's right on the edge of doing damage to my wings, which is great! You can follow them, but it takes skill and daring to do so. Second, my impression is the AI seems to use a little more variety in how they dive to escape. Sometimes it's a straight plummet, others it's more of a controlled circular spiral.
Nothing is ever going to be 'perfect, but all in all, the AI in BHaH II is by far the best iteration yet.

What with all the new sounds and graphic effects, the atmosphere and immersion in BHaH2 have reached a whole new level! I really like the enhanced machine gun and engine sounds.
BTW, is that a new "grunt" sound around the 3:43 mark?

BTW, is that a new "grunt" sound around the 3:43 mark? Yes, it is a new pilot injury sound. A number of the damage sound effects have been very nicely redone by Creaghorn and he's done a wonderful job. You can also see from that video how much harder it can be to keep track of opponents when your goggles are dirty, cracked, bloody and it's raining. Especially depending on the aircraft's paint scheme blending in with the ground terrain.
