I am abit curious of what would be added etc in the upcoming release of the career and campaign play aspect of the game?

I heard rumors about you can start a new career immediately where your recently dead pilot served?

Any tweaks to the campaign settings etc?

I do that all the time (sometimes more quickly than I'd like). Even use the same pilot name. I would imagine that you can even have multiple careers going in the same squadron at the same time. Or on opposite sides of the trenches. Just don't expect to fly with, or against, yourself. That would require having multiple player slots in the same campaign.

Of course you could always start a new campaign with the same squadron. But you will start all over with completely new AI comrades etc. So besides the squadron everything is completely new generated.

The point of the new feature is to continue where you left off with the same squadron and same squadronmates with all their names and stats, medals, injuries, aircraft complements etc. So if your pilot dies, you can re-enlist a new one (usually rather with a new name) and continue as a replacement of your former alter ego. So you can continue the story of the squadron and with the same ai mates you got used to.
