E- Power's post about cycling through the pictures inspired me to display my own ignorance.

Am I the only one that didn't know that if you hit Alt + Tab you can pause the Sim and go to whatever else you have open on you're computer then return to the Sim when you are through?

Mighty handy.

Great feature for allowing one to go get a tranquilizer after a particularly hairy furball so you have calmed down before your next adventure.

Be warned: In my experience, alt-tabbing from WOFF sometimes (maybe 1/5 times?) causes the game to freeze up and not resume properly, particularly when I pause the game beforehand. That might be related to my hardware in some way and not be an issue for anyone else, but I thought it would be good to mention just in case. Usually what I do is enable autopilot when I alt-tab, so that I don't actually 'pause' the sim, which seems to avoid the issue.

Like most sims and games best not to alt+tab when playing it can cause issues with some PCs- same for WOFF. I'd reserve it for those odd times when you absolutely must switch to check something.
Also if you really must, Pause first, then best to use Ctrl+Esc and select a program from taskbar or wherever rather than Alt+Tab, but still not recommended!
