Nobody have a fresh story no more. They do but they are making tv shows and not movies. The plot for this French film you posted about has been done a million times already with slight variations.

It's on Netflix. One monthly price for everything. I might watch it. Yes, if you are totally bored with nothing else to do then check it out!

Nobody have a fresh story no more. Interestingly I remember the 7 story lines point of view -- which essentially agrees with your observation. A quick Google: Many academics, most notably author Christopher Booker, believe that there are only seven basic plot structures in all of storytelling – frameworks that are recycled again and again in fiction but populated by different settings, characters, and conflicts.
Those seven plots are:
Overcoming the Monster Rags to Riches The Quest Voyage and Return Rebirth Comedy Tragedy
Sapphire Pulse RX7900XTX, 3 monitors = 23P (1080p) + SAMSUNG 32" Odyssey Neo G7 1000R curve (4K/2160p) + 23P (1080p), AMD R9-7950X (ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420), 64GB RAM@6.0GHz, Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER MB, (4x M.2 SSD + 2xSSD + 2xHD) = ~52TB storage, EVGA 1600W PSU, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower, ASUS RT-AX89X 6000Mbps WiFi router, VKB Gladiator WW2 Stick, Pedals, G.Skill RGB KB, AORUS Thunder M7 Mouse, W11 Pro

Nobody have a fresh story no more. Go slap your grammar school English teacher...seriously.

Nothing that will win any Oscars.
These days that could be a compliment.

These days that could be a complement. True dat. I found some recent winners puzzling.
