I thought this was fascinating, if a little eerie.

Wow, that Chinese/Filipino woman right after 4:00, I'd seen that picture years ago and thought to myself she was a really unique looking woman and thought it would have been cool to see her in real life when the photo was taken. This was a taste of that!

Someone with the skill should do one of them singing "Why Can't We Be Friends?" Or Churchill and Roosevelt teaming up for "You've Got a Friend in Me".

I would pay a substantial sum of money to have this done to pictures of some of my deceased family members...

This reminds me of those moving pictures in the Harry Potter movies...

I just heard about this on the radio yesterday, and they compared it to Harry Potter too, and also said that there was a place that would do that for family photos, but I can't find any links to it on their site.

Being the huge Roman history nerd that I am, I was checking out this one yesterday:

“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”

As far as I can gather there are various Youtubers who do the colourisation on demand but I don't know if the guy whose video I posted will do the animation and as he said it's not perfect. I'd certainly settle for colourisation but then again black and white photos have a charm all of their own.
