Way over in Perth, Western Aus...
Our single Panzer 35(t) is attached to an infantry unit tasked with ambushing a Soviet attack on a village.

Opening fire from our flanking ambush position in a cemetery:

After the ambush following up and clearing the engagement area:

Advancing through a sunflower field towards a position where remnant infantry were regrouping:

And crashing through fences on the assault:

Unfortunately I got too cocky and too close and the enemy infantry got us with anti-tank rifles and hand grenades...

Nice shots. Too bad about the close assault, but I bet they were shaking in their boots before your demise.

No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Great pics and great report, keep 'em coming!

The SF infantry are deadly for most tanks with those darn A/T grenades; it's got to the stage that if I mistakenly get within range of them and they start throwing grenades, my Immediate Action is to back out without thinking twice. In fact backing out has become my Immediate Action after taking any unexpected hit in SF; stopping to assess the situation in the hope of quickly returning effective fire has got me killed too often!

Inspired by this report, I tried out the two Pz. 35(t) missions I could find in ITM. In the one in your report, I got killed by one of the BTs. The other one ended better but more through luck than judgement in such an obsolete tin can!

Well, I dunno about the 35(t)...I always liked the 38(t) though, built the Italaeri 1/35 model way back before converting it to an SP SIG33 as part of a project to have a vehicle or gun from all the units in a 1944 Panzer Division. The Steel Fury 3d model is also a likeable little thing smile

No objections to Czech kit here, as a former user of a certain LMG derived from the Vz.26...
