I wonder how long Best Buy can last now... They went through some rough times when DVD/Bluray/CD sales started to plummet but they made changes to their business model in a hurry and so far it seems they are doing pretty well. If they do go out of business I don't think it will be any time soon.

could you please say that in English please? Seriously? What is so complex about what Blastman posted? Inventory turnover rate = The speed at which a product is selling.

They have 19 billion in assets and 4 billion in debt, so they're probably fine, unless their free cash flow(4.2 billion for 2021) turns negative. Their assets are inventory, so they depend on the ability to move that inventory, which ages rapidly due to most being electronics and popular media. Their ability to issue debt or apply for credit facilities will be highly dependent on their inventory turnover rate, which during the pandemic, has been exceptional. Electronics don't seem to be becoming obsolete nearly as quickly as in the past though (say, the 2000's). All the low hanging fruit has been picked. Moore's Law is what's become obsolete...

The Frys I used to go by me (Anaheim CA) was ran into the ground when the pakis took it over.... store turned into a HOT MESS... with terrible turnover rates... shelves always in disarray... lazy employees... rude management (which 90% of them were family or fellow country men) stock issues ... items that were deemed NEW but were EXPERTLY repackaged and re-sealed USED... etc etc dont get me started..
