The jury's still out for me on this new U-Boat sim, but two things I really do like about it are the ability to tailor the dress and appearance of every last man jack of your somewhat under-strength and highly disorangised crew using well-researched uniform elements (if often mis-named - this cap could be worn by all ranks but is called an NCO cap)...

This will be the outfit for the 3-4 sailors I want as a permanent (surfaced!) bridge watch, if I can get past the bug in the crew management dialogue.

...and the view inside your boat - no, not the pull-apart 'outside-in' view, but the one you can get by 'taking over' a playable character and walking about to admire the detail, albeit I think they missed out those overhead, angled diesel exhaust valve wheels in the diesel room, that Johann twirls vigorously at the start of the convoy chase scene in Das Boot.

From bow to stern...

...and on the bridge.

The sharp rake of the rear of the tower is definitely like a Type IX, not the featured Type VII, but it looks good (that, the non-retractable DF loop and offset not as it should be, centred, UZO mount apart).
