Howdy all!
Managed to snag a few good deals on computer parts. I still can't get a hold of a decent graphics card, or the very latest AMD kit at a decent price - so I'm going to use the gcard I still have and go with another Intel platform. Here will be the specs:
-Intel i9 10900k 10-core CPU
-Corsair Hydro H100X CPU liquid cooler
-Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC motherboard
-32GB Corsair DDR4 2933 Vengeance RGB Pro
-AMD 295x2 8GB graphics card (from current system)
-500GB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 2280 PCIe x4 NVMe (for OS and apps)
-Two 2TB Samsung 860 EVO Sata3 SSDs (for games and data)
-Creative Sound Blaster ZxR (from current system)
-Internal all-in-one media card reader
-LG Super Multi Blue 16x bluray rewriter
-Corsair HX1200 modular power supply
-Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition full tower case (finally ditching my circa 2004 Thermaltake Kandalf full tower case)
-Corsair iCUE LED Node Core controller and Commander Pro with two SP140mm RGB intake fans

To follow-up: I've been on my X58 platform for quite some time. Over the years I have bought some gently used parts to max out its mem and CPU, but it has still been an X58 era machine from circa 2010/2011. I'm excited to see what performance boosts I might see. More interesting still, for my AMD 295X2 to actually run on PCIe v3.0 vs PCIe v2.0

I'm slowly getting it all up and going, after moving my data over. I do hate the Win10 Start Menu...

Looks good Argon, that should blaze.
Which video card are you using?
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Thanks! Right now the only one I have: A 6 year old AMD 295X2. I am on the EVGA list for a NVidia 3080 though.

Thanks! My new USB 3 hub from Orico came in, as well as my Corsair LED strips.

Also picked up the Corsair Nexus LCD screen and got a hold of an XFX AMD 6700 XT. Getting that all in place this eve!
