My son got an unassembled Traxxas Slash from Santa for Christmas, and it's kind of kicked off a little resurgence of RC stuff in our house.
The first thing we learned is that you can't just have one Traxxas in a house with 2 kids (and a dad), so shortly after Christmas dad had to get one too. And then once you have 2, you need to build them a garage. These things are fun do drive on the street, and a total blast on anything other than street.
And then that kinda got me inspired to pull my two remaining RC planes out of mothballs and get them in the air again. After 15 of flying blind, my Corsair finally has a pilot! ... and yes, I know what you're thinking. Wherever did I get such an amazing pilot figure?!?!? You'd never guess I made it myself
