Been a long time since I've watched an entire concert on YT...

Oasis earls Court live 1995 (possibly their best gig ever)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVPu_aGj5NU

<song timestamps in comments, copied here...>

The Swamp Song - 00:40
Acquiesce - 03:40
Supersonic - 07:33
Hello - 12:36
Some Might Say - 15:51
Shakermaker - 21:22
Roll With It - 26:23
Round Are Way (Ending with Up In The Sky) - 31:11
Cigarettes & Alcohol - 36:37
Live Forever - 41:25
Champagne Supernova - 46:20

Noel Gallahger's Acoustic Set
Wonderwall - 56:26
Cast No Shadow - 1:00:40
Morning Glory - 1:05:19

Rest of Electric Set
Don't Look Back in Anger - 1:09:55
Whatever (Ending with All The Young Dudes) - 1:14:48
I Am the Walrus (The Beatles cover) (with The Bootleg Beatles) - 1:21:23

My thoughts on this mid-90's British Rock band that completely slipped under my radar back in the day (and not the only one)...

Cons:
- Nothing that stood out as fantastic to me, like the usual one or two obviously biggest hits.
- Cursing wasn't over-the-top but still seemed strange coming from The Monkees.
- Tambourine? Really?

Pros:
- It was consistently listenable, that is I never once felt the need to FF to the next song.
- Guitar layering was interesting, no song structured soloing that I recall, instead a constant background lead behind rhythm.
- Better than expected, good enough to pick up a Greatest Hits from Amazon for further review.

Grade: B- (for Beatles...lol) with high marks for being consistently B-. <- For first listen, that's a nice compliment.

If you're a fan at all, this will should have you gripping the armrests, leaning into the imaginary spray, and shouting in pent-up but triumphant relief 'Not yet, kamaraden! Not yet!'

Friday Night YouTube SIdebar Six-Pack

Saw this one pop up on my front page . . .

Brandi Carlisle - Helplessly Hoping - so so good

Which made me hit up the best Grammy performance I can remember . . .

Brandi Carlisle - The Joke - which I have watched at least every month it seems since it was posted - they nail this performance

and after, right there in the sidebar I see this one I had not seen before -

Roger Waters - Mother - still sounding great

then I check out these covers . . .

Harry Styles - Sledgehammer - this really rocks, Stern Show performances always sound so so good

and Miley Cyrus - Doll Parts

Clickity-Click and I am jamming to this one . . .

Miley Cyrus - Heart of Glass

Which got me on a stretch of Miley covers that went well beyond the Six-pack posted here

Found a pretty obscure collection of b sides and other mixes of some Fixx songs. Thought maybe Mark G. might get a kick out it.

Always loved this band. Elliot Easton is one of the most under rated guitar players ever.

I've been listening to it as my spotty internet allows, thanks. I've heard some of those when I was searching deep prior to my first Fixx concert in 2017. Can't wait to see them for a third time; their second concert (2018) was the best sounding live performance I've ever heard (in a newer performance arts theatre designed for superb acoustics).

Brrrrrrrrr...one more (from 1985), showcasing what was both right and wrong with 80's Rock, especially from 60's/70's bands transitioning to a more 80's sound...

A very well known song but this one never grows old on me.
