A few facts Some installations use a "Planesets" folder, whereas others have a "Multiplayer PlaneSets" folder.
There are two different exes, one for an installation which has a "Multiplayer PlaneSets" folder, as has today's public release.
The other is for an installation which has a "Planesets" folder. It is working but I have not released it at this juncture
Both versions of the installation need a "CONFOG.MNU" file and a "CONFOG.pic" file. In today's release they are already in the "GameData" folder.
Both versions of the exe read a "DirSetsList.str" file and a "PlaneSetsList.str" file, in the root folder.
Because of the pathnames to the planeset folders the " "PlaneSetsList.str" files are different.
There is a little utility that makes them, named "MakeTheLists.exe"
When you run it this is what you see:
If the folder that you are running it in has a "Multiplayer PlaneSets" folder then click the "Use Multiplayer Planesets radio-button.
When you click "START" the "DirSetsList.str" "PlaneSetsList.str" files are made instantaneously, then the program exits and disappears. Jel
