So the DirectX (DirectDraw) Wrapper is a gog made wrapper , apparently. The other three wrappers they include are all available on the web. Included are the IPX Direct Input and NGlide 3dfx wrappers. I updated my web site in two locations to include support for the GoG eaw game, at least what I know about it. Which is not too much, but there is not much need to know thats different from the prevous info I have on my site. This page has specific info on the GOG EAW: https://eaw.neocities.org/first-use.htmlThere are many other files included but they are part of the GoG GUI and server cloud, and uninstallers. The game can be made portable and I included a file listing of the important ones on my help site. This page has GOG File List: https://eaw.neocities.org/install.htmlEverything is temporary at the moment , until I find out more.

You sure its not the wrappers interfering with the memory or speed of the game? That GoG wrapper is reported a bit slow. If on win10, it maybe even slower as win10 has its own layers that fix menu corruption; colors messed up or tearing. I guess it depends on resolution too: 1024x768 in flight screen is probably the max someone would want to go. Plus you don't want to use custom FMs with 128/128GOG exe, other than the ones included, they can cause issues for it. But perhaps your right, but then if it has the same memory handling as 1.2 then IDK what to say.....I know its all system memory, or 99% of it is. EDIT: I'm re writing some info here, to make it easier to understand, however limited by my understanding in some cases. I have the compatibility section done. https://eaw.neocities.org/codegroup-patches.html#128OH: Place 1.2 eaw.exe in the 128GOG folder and run it, see if you get the same problematic issues with the add-ons. Just rememebr to rename the 1.28 eaw.exe to something else as the windows os needs the running exe to be named EAW.EXE ALSO, save your eaw.ini file too, I don't know what 1.2 will do to your 128 ini.

Running actually in W10 1920x1080. Have no problems at that res with default game or less intensive mods. No obvious problems thus far with modded FMs. What are you getting? But screenshots are wierd. This from GOG with SWOTL: Will investigate as suggested.

Hey Mark,
I struggled with this sound pack for several hours tonight, and got nowhere. I think Angleoff's version is the one to use, his readme file has some of the same text, and it would be my guess that the one we are trying to make work is an early version that was superseded by Angleoff's. The code version I have makes reference to the mpf files mentioned in his readmes, and not the ini files mentioned in the original. So, I would archive that one with a disclaimer, maybe even add a readme to the zip that there is a better version out there.
Cheers,
CJ
