why think so?

Because in order for the RPN to be locked, a circle would have to be indicated

I just checked that there is a capture on 3 coordinates...(So it seems to be called) there everything is correct this is the place of the "starting officer" and the "circle" appears in the place of the "capture operator" this means capture by speed... IMHO a small error in the manual seems to be... or not? and now the radar captures the target, all the missiles are launched, everything is in order.

We discussed it here, but cannot find the post.... I'll ask a master SA-5 officer!

Tracking is the word, not capturing... wink

Lissajous curve is indicating tracking of the Doppler shift..

I am sorry.
It's been 25 years since I've sat behind the control panel, but I have a feeling that the indication you're referring to here is a different display.
But I may be wrong. man forgets.

Can this system really track interference without turning on the transmitter at full power? The instructions describe how to use it when turning on the transmitter and pointing at the source of interference, I tried it, it turned out that without turning on the transmitter, the target can be tracked and destroyed... If this is the case, then the radius of destruction is huge... and even the target doesn't know it was shot at... Horror, of course...

What is the thrust of the 4 booster rockets mounted on the side of the main missile?
And where they more powerful in the Dubna than the older models?
