My i30 just hit 200k a few weeks back, 2011 model. Most reliable car i have ever owned and i'm tempted to get a new turbo version when i pass it on to my daughter soon.I'm a simple man with simple muscle car tastes though and would like one of these...
I'd take a white car over black any day...talk about showing every little smudge etc, black sucks, especially in FL.
And ditto on the red cop magnet, and all those neonesque flash colors too.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

The next vehicle I get painted is going to be done in Raptor Coat or some other epoxy based paint, being much more durable than typical automotive paint.
The only real downside is the limited color selection.
Nothing looks as good as a black car just after it has been detailed. Nothing looks as bad as that same car four days later.
I got my black 2014 Toyota RAV4 "professionally" detailed last summer. By the time I got it home (10 minute drive) it was already looking dirty. I will never get another black car. Here in Michigan, when the snow falls an the salt trucks come out, no color car looks good. They all have that same coat of "winter dust and smudge" on them.

Yeah I sure learned this with my current car (well, do I call a V6 Ford Escape XLT a car or an SUV?)...
Only took me a month to give up on keeping it looking perfect at all times, especially during winter. Now I just wash it once a month and hose it down several times a month.
Looks perfect from 50 feet away, and that's good enough for me. Don't need 100% perfection on a daily basis like I'm trying to sell it - and it's not like it's some Corvette or something which I WOULD keep pristine at all times...
I really like the Maserati's wheels. Love the Jag, especially if it was in British Racing Green.

Colours depend on the make. A Porsche looks great in silver, but even better in Irish Green with a tan interior. An Italian car like an Alfa or a Ferrari will always look good in red, but also in yellow or even dark blue. Jaguars will always look good in blue, the darker the better.
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!
I bet I'm the only dude on this site who's dream car was less than $20k brand new in the showroom (and with all options including tops) (~$16k in 1988 == ~$35k in 2021 dollars). So my dream car today would cost ~$35k! I don't remember if, like the tops, leather was a dealer option so add this as well for a grand or two, also serious aftermarket sound. Would still be no more than $40k...for a dream car!
The poor man's Ferrari, with its own cool flying horse emblem...
Wake up, Pontiac! Today it's all trans this and trans that. What about...trans am?! Ooooo, Bandit package (black w/gold pinstripes and honeycomb wheels) and of course, the legendary beautiful fiery chicken on the hood!

We have the same tastes. Yes indeed.

Aaahhhhh..... ummmmmmmm...... not sure how to tell you. Pontiac doesn’t exist anymore.
Just sleeping. GM could bring it back and a modern Fiero (although the government-mandated pedestrian-friendly blunt front end today might be a styling issue...not sure how the 'Vette pulls if off).

The Trans Am conversions look pretty neat, but speaking as a vintage Pontiac owner {'70 GTO and '86 Fiero GT}, I think it would be for the best if the brand was never brought back, considering how mediocre it was in its last few decades.

Wow! Coolest Camaro ever!
"Pontiac" was mainly just GM brand labeling for their sportier side though, right? Pontiacs were only as good or as bad as their GM sister cars (the Fiero being an exception, unique to Pontiac and what many believe was perfected by improvements made for the 1988 model). If GM cars are good today (haven't been keeping up) then Pontiac would be just as good, just another GM brand.
Saturns were also usually unique but not always (Sky being a sister to the Solstice).

Yeah, Pontiac after 1981, when they got rid of the Pontiac specific engines, their cars were basically became just a re-skinned Chevy for the most part.
I wish they would have reinvented Pontiac as the high tech brand, with a greater focus on turbo power and handling, but at that point it GM management no longer allowed it to outshine Chevy in performance, especially when it came to the Corvette.
