Lost my Conda twice today. STOOPID decisions!

How did it happen?

I made ten runs in all with the Cutter. That's 6400t delivered. I was mostly running coffee for 7.7m per run. I was using two stations, Meinel Hub in Devana. This had the best buy price, but was four jumps from the CG, and five on the return trip loaded down. The other was Ross 860, either Wedge Hub or Sullivan port. A higher buy, which reduced profits by 500k, but only one jump from the CG, and two back loaded. Faster turn around. The money isn't the priority, numbers delivered is what counts.

With about an hour to play I flew back to Barnwell, swapped the Cutter for a Krait and some limpets, and went bounty hunting in Luyten's Star, shooting and scooping, and turned in 7.5m in bounties for 75%. Stopped along the way to drop some tritium at Angband.

I went into a pirate zone with my Cutter and met with a Fer-De-Lance today and luckily escaped. Without the shield cell bank and a sluggish Cutter I didn`t want to go to far.

I have made some coffee runs tofday. I am using Leslie city in Agastani 23LY from Sirius. I make 7.5,m a run. Still in 25% though. I will have a go again later today.

I came thisclose to losing my Cutter yesterday.

I had loaded up with 640t of coffee at Wedge Hub. I lifted off and went to exit the slot. As I did I noticed too late a T-9 coming in. It was dark out there and the T-9 blended right in, especially with the haze from the airlock. I was too much in the center, and kicked rudder, but it wouldn't be in time, so bunted to go under. The Cutter though is a massive ship and the tail had not cleared the slot. My nose dropped but the tail did not as it was still inside and the T-9 slammed in to me, wedging itself between the top of my Cutter and the top of the slot. We were stuck fast.

Aw, sh!t I proclaimed. Fines were ticking off and I tried boosting. Didn't move an inch. Vertical thusters did not loosen my problem. Neither did lats. I was stuck and just waiting to be blown up. Fines for reckless driving and probably trespassing were popping up. Finally by some miracle all the thruster panic let me wiggle out to starboard and I hit boost and was gone. Not my finest moment! I felt very lucky to have survived this.

LOL, it's not loitering if you are sitting on the pad!! HAHAHA



Fighting Conda's when I should have bugged out.

I'm flying with only 1 Hull reinforcement in my military slot, shed 4 of them and added cargo racks for the CG. I've been doing a good job of making sure my shield doesn't go down, and if it does and I can kill the target, I'll take damage no doubt, but, TWICE I went over the edge. One time I was down to 3% hull and the enemy rammed me, he was at 1%, we both blew up! Other time we were both down to 1% and he hit me with plasma........that's all she wrote!!! LMAO

Thanks. I've made the correct decision more times than not, but the CG's are a different world, especially this one and the last one. The rewards are high.....IF you don't die!!

23Mil rebuy, it's more of losing the bounties, the money's nothing, I'm nearing 7.3Bil.

Yeah, the past two combat CGs have been ship killers, no doubt. I don't like anyone losing their ships, but I like having it be a real possibility.

I went over to Agastani and grabbed 340T of coffee, it paid 3.6M in profit, so a bit less then the Animal meat in Epsilon Indi, plus, it's 2 jumps back from Agastani laden in my Conda. Will go back there though and see what Animal meat will pay. If it's not better, I'll switch back to Epsilon due to the additional jump.
Gotta get the Cutter after this CG is done!

EDIT: Upon further inspection....LOL, I get the same amount of profit from Leslie City for Animal meat as Epsilon Indi. So, since I have two jumps coming back laden from Agastani and it's only one jump each to EI, I'll use EI for Animal meat....now watch, I'll go over there and they'll be out or the price changed....HAHA, I love E:D!!

Okay now, top 10% in the bounty CG, top 25% in the cargo CG!!!

Haha, this is the one you were going to sit back on right? I saw you last night when I brought another load of coffee to Laelaps. Your ship was hovering near the megaship. I hailed you, dropped off my cargo, and when I took off you jumped out. Was going to try and snap a pic of our big boats.

I dropped off two more loads last night, for 7680 delivered and well within the 50%. I also went back to Luyten's Star and hunted bounties, another 11m for 18m total, also in the 50%. I'll try to keep both sides there, and will make decent money.

HAHA about sitting back. That's my addiction to E:D. I told one of my wing mates that I was going to beat Elite, he replied that it was an open end game, I told him I don't care, I'M GOING TO WIN!!!

They kicked me out of the top 10% in the bounty CG, so I clawed my way back in, HA. Sitting at 86.8M!

Good job being in the 10%.I logged on early today for a bit and dropped one more load of coffee, then went and got 6m more in bounties. High-ranked, small ship spawn. Good for rank, not for the CG, but I won't be hitting 25% so just keeping it at 50%. The combat side rewards are much better than the trade side. I could get in to the 25% on the trade side if I do some tonight. But either way it's good money when we add up bounties, trade sells, and the rewards for both sides. Plus it gives me a purpose, and that's always a good thing.

HAHA, now I really feel bad!! That would have been classic!! HAHA



Nah, I was talking about the bounty CG, I'm at top 25% in the cargo CG, I can haul 340 per trip!

I had a nice dinner with my 2 daughters last night so I made some runs this morning instead.
Still 18 hrs to go.

Wow, you guys are amazing. I feel like I've done well (15 runs x 640 = 9600), but it's nowhere near what you have done. Good work.

I sit in the 50% for both sides, with 27m in bounties as well.

But some guys have been on each night for a session or two. Recluse has been my rock. I lost another Conda last night, he yelled at me to bug out last night..Several times.....I thought I had it killed, then BOOM!! LOL Lost about 12M in bounties! DOH!!

Nice, I'm at 12T, not killing it but in top 25%, though I haven't looked today, I may have fell!
