What seemingly simple or easy things make you feel like an idiot?
For me I'll list two.
1. Cling wrap. You know the stuff you wrap sandwiches in? Like Saran Wrap. I would not be surprised if I just ended up trapped in this stuff one day. I rip a piece off and all hell breaks loose, it doubles up on itself and the corners disappear and I'm lucky to get it done at all lol.
2. Fitted sheets. The length and width are not the same, so it only orients properly in one direction. I have never gotten this right on the first try. I put the short side on the long part. Then have to redo it after rotating it 90 degrees. Fail.
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Using gift wrapping paper. It's a PITA for me to wrap a gift so that it looks right so I just take it to a store and pay a few bucks for someone to do it for me professionally. I'm assuming though that most men have this problem.

I rip a piece off and all hell breaks loose, it doubles up on itself and the corners disappear and I'm lucky to get it done at all lol. Which is why I use sandwich bags. Zip-loc, of course. The fold-over kind are also kinda PITAish. 2. Fitted sheets. The length and width are not the same, so it only orients properly in one direction. I have never gotten this right on the first try. I put the short side on the long part. Then have to redo it after rotating it 90 degrees. Fail. I learned a trick after my wife passed away: don't use the edges. Stick your fingers all the way into two adjacent corners and stretch as far as it will go. It becomes pretty easy to determine the long side. I solved the folding problem by using the same sheets over and over again.

Yeah, PM, I can't gift wrap either, but that doesn't stop me. I've worried for years that my son will catch on because Santa only wraps like crap at my house haha.
Thanks for the tip von Baur. Maybe I'll get it right next time.

I would think that anyone who served in the military for a while would be an expert at making the perfect looking bed! I don't remember being issued anything but flat sheets in the Air Force. Thanks for the tip von Baur. Maybe I'll get it right next time. Any time, partner. Any time.
SALUTE TO ALL!

I can play when standing, but have trouble singing while playing.
I do prefer to sit though. Especially with acoustics or Les Pauls. The Strats are great for playing while standing. Lightweight and the contoured body is very comfortable.
My least favorite guitar to play standing is the Gibson SG. It's not balanced right or something, neck heavy.
