With CES just around the corner, we expect to see LG's 2021 lineup pretty soon - and it should include a new 42-inch size that ought to be even more suitable for desktop use.

FWIW, just a "heads up" for those in the market for a high end Gaming Monitor:

OLED is the highest fidelity technology for TV sets. LG produces nearly all the OLED screens -- they sell them under their own brand or to other manufacturers.

Last year, LG was selling a 48inch 4K OLED. The sales were higher than expected because Gamers/etc were using them on the desktop.

LG is rumored to have gotten the message. It is believed they will release a 42inch 4K OLED 120fps TV/monitor in 2021.

I recently modified my "computer closet" (where my main system resides) to accept a 48inch 4K OLED TV/monitor. But, I decided 48inch was just too big.

I'll be interested to check out the LG 42Inch 4K OLED to replace my 43inch 4K LCD. Its supposed to be very expensive -- hope not wink

Yeah...I remember my first 27" monitor. It seemed HUGE!

Good info, can't afford one right now, but you never know.

I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.
