Call me skeptical, but Thomas Jane doesn't do crap movies or shows. Read reviews https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11456054/reviews?sort=userRating&dir=asc&ratingFilter=0This What kind of nonsense is that! No real spoiler here. It's either in the trailer or spoils nothing Shotgun rifle shots inside a school that absolutely nobody hears?? Students run away from the cafeteria window long before the van hits it, as if it's pretty expected?? One shot the path is clear in front of the van, the second a girl is under its wheels?? Live streaming the shooting while cutting telephone cables so nobody calls the police?? School security guard doesn't have a cellphone and try to reach a landline to call the police?? A girl with a shot in her leg and sprints?? Gun rounds don't penetrate locker door?? The girl shoots a rifle 30 yards from police car and nobody responds?? The list goes on and on! Come on! This Fake reviews galore There is an inordinate amount of 10/10 reviews here, by people with only 1 single review and who signed up to IMDB today. Most of these cite something about "critics" being ignorant, political etc., and say nothing about the actual movie. In other words, all these reviews are shills who are attempting to put out a perceived fire or something, to "save" their movie. It's all fake.
This happens more and more on IMDB - an army of shills with 10/10 reviews with some name dropping, perhaps some strange excuse ("the critics" in this case) and never actually saying anything. It has to stop, or IMDB will become totally worthless. This Pure garbage and the reviews are clearly bots This movie is pure garbage, I only looked at the user rating and gave it a shot and got halfway through and had to come see what was going on. The reviews are so clearly botted it's laughable. Just look at the repeated buzzwords and the fake usernames. Whoever put this together could have spent half the time towards making the movie watchable, this is the definition of a clickbait rating movie. Might be one of the worst I've ever seen. This Enough stupidity to go around. Ah man this was a really stupid film. Enough to go around from the students, the teachers and law enforcement. You seriously want me to believe that a less than a hundred lb teenage girl was able to single handedly rescue school students from a group of other stupid high school students who took over the school after killing a bunch of students?....come on. This was by far the worst adaptation of how educators and law enforcement handle a school shooting. Once again I was duped by all the positive reviews. Truly enough stupidity to go around. This Our hero is 7st Zoe a girl who becomes the John McClane from Die Hard but it's not Nakatomi Plaza it's a high school. Thankfully all the security services are complete buffoons and the bad boy thinks he's The Joker. Inbetween this Radha Mitchell appears as mom ghost and Thomas Jane is the ex army dad who could do it all on his own (what happened to these actors?). Meantime our Zoe becomes the moral compass of the piece after the opening scene where she bashes the skull in of a deer she shot before breakfast lol. During this, dad has breached the security restrictions and helps little Zoe by using a rifle on assailants with nobody from the security services noticing till the story needs it. Add to all this a mix of every cliché possible, even more silliness and you get this complete twaddle. As for dialogue and acting, well it's even more worse again. Zoe will return in Run Hide Fight 2 - where she battles terrorists threatening to destroy a bike rack demanding the return of the of the evil Laa Laa from Teletubbies.

Call me skeptical, but Thomas Jane doesn't do crap movies or shows. You are right to be skeptical. The movie and the entire young cast are excellent. It's been given almost nothing but excellent audience reviews while the professional critics hate it because of the subject matter (a fictional school shooting) and the fact that it doesn't fit their liberal narrative. We went to see "News of the World" with Tom Hanks. I was just thinking not too long ago that the one thing he had never done was a western. Well, now he has and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't know where it was filmed but the open landscapes were fantastic. It's supposed to take place mostly in West Texas just 5 years after the ACW. As usual, Hanks was superb. Cheers P.S. I looked it up and it was filmed around Sante Fe, New Mexico

I'll probably watch anyways because Thomas Jane is a great actor. NFB, I bet you'd hate the original "Battle Royale." Too slow, I think you'll say.

@NoFlyBoy
First of all, I'm curious about how you watched this movie. To the best of my knowledge, it's only streaming on the Daily Wire which requires an annual membership. That's where I watched it since I've had a subscription there for several years.
While I wouldn't give it a 10, I would still give it at least a 7 and maybe an 8 out of 10. There were one or two plot holes but nothing major and especially nothing deserving as bad as a 1 or 2 star.
People who give a movie a 1 or a 2 star while the vast majority give a movie a 6 or higher are not to be trusted. The same goes for many who give every movie they like a 9 or 10. It's the same for games.
However, all you did was cherry-pick a few of the 12 people at IMDB that gave it a 1. And just look at the 2nd review you posted. There is not a single thing in the "review" about the movie. All they did was complain about all the fake 10-star reviews and then give an equally fake 1-star review for a movie they haven't seen. The second review you posted is equally questionable. The person claims to have started watching it and then quit. However, nothing in their brief description is really correct---making me think this is just another fake review in an effort to counter all the good reviews.
I'm not going to bother to copy any of the over 107 reviews that gave the movie a probable honest 7 or 8 stars, nor the 152 people who gave it a 9 star rating. I do question the 502 ten-star reviews and I'm sure a good portion of those constitute review spamming.
If you start actually looking at the review breakdown, you will find these numbers for the movie on IMDB. Quite a few more people gave the movie a 6, 7, or 8-star rating than all of those below. When any reviewer takes the time in their own review whether it's a 1 or a 10 star review to accuse others of being dishonest then I'm pretty skeptical.
rated 1 star by 12 people rated 2 stars by 10 people rated 3 stars by 6 rated 4 stars by 4 rated 5 stars by 9 rated 6 stars by 14 rated 7 stars by 28 rated 8 stars by 79 rated 9 stars by 152 rated 10 stars by 509
At this point, I'm beginning to question whether you actually saw the movie. IMHO it's certainly not trash!

It's available on the PB. I'm not saying that's where he watched it though, just an observation.

I liked it a lot. It's a 7/10 for me, which is high, but yeah, a lot of the reviews on Imdb are fake, actually the average has gone down slowly in the last 2 days as people are actually watching the movie. The thing is, is the critics low scores probably annoy people into giving tens too... For sure it's not a 1/10 movie, that's ridiculous, it's a well made well acted action movie with very little bs and no propaganda, which is extremely unusual. I mean it's not a masterpiece but it's a honest movie, i really enjoyed it, just grab a beer and relax. LE: i'm talking about Run Hide Fight - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11456054
