LP's not on Google's "list of businesses at this address", although I don't know what that may or may not mean.

I'm just puzzled. Since no one from LP has bothered to show and comment here for years, after their initial comments that the game sold very well (I recall them talking about the release sales exceeding their expectations and hurried orders for more copies), I'll venture the opinion they couldn't have successfully managed a bottled water store in the Sahara desert. If you have a good product, you have virtually no competition, and it sells very well, and you STILL go under, you SUCK at running a business. Whether the costs were too high, or the money made was just misused/mismanaged, or key people left and they were adrift without them and couldn't find replacements so the team collapsed, or one of them took everything and ran for Tahiti, they screwed up. There was no reason they couldn't have sold addons/sequels with new flyables or terrains. While it looking like "Dark Falcon" would've helped, it wasn't even strictly necessary. They blew it. It's really too bad. In this new era of DLC, they could've easily released new cockpits and made planes already in the game flyable along with new terrains and cleaned up.

And today this gets posted by Ed_1 on the BMS forums: Originally Posted by PAVEWAY I Love AF and I've been gaming with it since they released BMS 4.32. Ed Dont hold your breath is all I can say to this little game being played.

They haven't? Well, frankly, maybe they should. Everyone was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when AF came out thanks to the great stability and new theater despite how dated the graphics were. With each passing year, though... Let's face it, they have to release something at least as good as the mods now if not better.

found this on the.....yes frugalsworldrefugees forum:
got an email from Pumpy awhile back. He, for various reasons, kept track of the Lead Pursuit business filings. As of a couple months ago, they were administratively dissolved.
Kinda saddened by it.
oh well - at least I can set up a new company with that name and do Falcon 5.........
If this really is the case - who is paying for the Web site? - or is it lost in some ghostly cache in cyberspace!!
website are cheap, they could have paid server years or months in advance.

The Jedi Master Click on the link in Boilerplate's post and then under the Selected businesses at this address text on the left side and choose the "Mail Center USA" link . You will see that it is suite 804. Lead Pursuit is using a mail center box for their address. Suite 804 - Box 117 hmmm.. according to the map, this address is a partially occupied retail facility.. Bird's Eye View Lead Pursuit, Inc. 1739 S.W. Loop 410 Suite # 804-117 San Antonio, TX 78227 USA Anyone in San Antonio should be able to look them up in the County Records office and there should be a DBA (Doing Business as) listing. They have to re-filed every five years in California and I suspect Texas is not much different. Wheels

Hi, we all went our separate ways a couple of years after release. Everyone has their own story - but we all loved being part of the project. I’ve recently got back into flight sims and am thoroughly enjoying DCS World - amazing work by ED. Things change, people change - but the great thing is progress continues moving forward in the genre. I often wondered to myself back in 2001 when I started using 4.0 a lot what would flight sims be like in 20 years. Well now that I’m here I can happily report back to my younger self that they are in every way bloody amazing as I hoped that they would be.
EDIT: my old C3PO account I couldn’t recover, hence this one - which is also pretty old!
