Well as promised guys heres all the mods for B-17 II that I have accumulated over the years. It's going to be an ongoing project as I plan on adding descriptions/authors in the tags as I get time. Please note not all files have readme's but all should use the OMF Editor and most will go in the Resources/Media folder in the B-17 II directory.

*NOTE* If you are a B-17 II mod author and see any of your mods there please contact me here via PM if you wish the mod removed, or hopefully you don't mind and have a readme or more files you would like to contribute smile Please keep in mind this is a free file repository and I do not recieve any compensation nor am I seeking any. I just love B-17 II and want to keep the wonderful mods you guys created available to all (old and new) who wish to keep B-17 II flying.

Excellent! I just reinstalled this one again recently, and realized I was missing a lot of these files. And as B-A seems to be slowly dying, I was afraid a lot of these would be lost forever...

Yes thanks 'zilla! B17-2 is a classic, still well worth playing, and some of the mods are rather important or useful eg the 'extra [ghost] squadrons' mod to the R&R file and the one which loses the 'halo' around the selected crewman. Also worth having as a note somewhere the registry edit that stops your gun sounds cutting out after a couple of bursts(nice if there was also a mod that gave audible gunfire in the external view but don't think there ever was).

This is a link to all the target recon photos that were used by the v8th at B-A for their missions

B-A Target Recon Photos

I used a free program called 7Zip to zip them. It will unzip almost any type of file.

Feel free to upload it to your site godzilla1985.

Hi Jester long time since we chatted. Sorry for the late reply but works been a bear. The v8th B-A Target Recon Photos are uploaded now, thanks for supplying these to the B-17 II TM8th Mediafire site.
Cheers

Well it can be a little complicated for some mods if the mod has no readme install file. But if you D/Led the OMF file it should have also supplied a users manual for the OMF and how to use it. Start by installing the mods that have readme's included. After you do a few of these you will start to understand the file structure and how the OMF utility works. From there it's fairly easy to install most mods that have no readme files. Also go to the B-A site (google bombs away) the site is still up and there is still tons of good info still there on "how too".
Cheers.

Godzilla 1985...I realize this is an old post but just wanted to let you know someone is grateful for the files...Just put B-17 back in yesterday and going to get her running and grab a few mods....The game brings me back to playing an Avalon hill B-17 board game,,Think it was B-17
Queen of the skies.. I like the computer version but haven't played it for years,,I liked naming Jimmy Stewart as pilot and John Wayne as co-pilot,,Thank you
