Yes this is a high maintenance flight simulation given the complexity of the aircraft. I do enjoy the F 15 as it's easier to fly and a lot of fun

I'm currently focusing on the older aircraft.

The F-15 I feel like I've mastered quite a bit but it's still my go-to platform for when I need to provide some air superiority for my coop buddies. biggrin

Beyond that though, I also fly the SU-25T for SEAD support and the KA-50 for CAS if the mission in question doesn't have a long a$$ travel distance involved.

For something I want to learn a lot about, the F-18, I'd buy the full model

For something I just want to go screaming across the Nevada desert 50 feet off the deck, the Mirage or Viggen, I'd just buy the flight model at half price.

I'd agree with that. I'd buy a lot more modules if they did that. $20-30 for simplified model and I'll buy many more planes, especially if they did things like the Su-35, Eurofighter, Rafale, Mirage 2000-5.

Anyone having difficulties getting online? Just freezes in multiplayer lobby. Tried a few obvious things, but nothing doing.

No, but when I start the game it says my trial modules (F/A-18 and Supercarrier) aren't authorized and disables them. I just uninstalled them, I already know I'll buy them when I have the time.

Edit: Just realized it's over, I thought it was until the 7th for some reason.
