WW84
The first Wonder Woman film with Gal Gadot was awesome. DIrector Patty Jenkins done a fantastic job with that film, filming from a script by Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg. A great script and a great director results in a great film. A bad script and a great director might still produce a great film.
Patty Jenkins returns as director of WW84 but the film is not great because the script written by 2 guys (not Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg) and director Patty Jenkins is poor. This is a problem in Hollywood, when a movie does great, the director or producers ask the studio for more freedom on the sequel and the resulting sequel is a bad film.
Very few sequels to great films became great and better than the film they followed: WW84 is not one of those great sequels.
1186 users reviews on IMDB rating from 1 to 10 stars with 6 stars being average: more than 848 of those reviews rated it 1 star to 5 stars
The box office for the 2017 film is 822+ million. I think if there was no pandemic and all the movie theaters in the world are open and doing business as usual, this sequel would not had the same box office as the first one.
Now with theaters closed around the world and this sequel getting a limited cinema release and HBO MAX streaming, the box office will for sure be much smaller.
This may be the end of the Wonder Woman films.
If there is another Wonder Woman film, put a man in charge. This sequel had too much of the men are bad and evil and the creators of all the world's problems, that men are only good at whistling at women, harassing women, making unwanted sexual advance and comments at women. Most of the men in the film were just drooling idiots whenever Diana Prince entered the room. Also did not need the lesbian attraction between Wonder Woman and Barbara Minerva. Two beautiful women get together for drinks and they are attracted to each other and ready to jump into bed with each other. Is that what happens in Patty Jenkins' real life world?

This pretty much sums up any show or movie over the last ten years, especially when certain networks/studios or feminists/virtue hounds get involved. I passed on the first WW because of the hidden L angle. I don't mind they live their lives and do whatever, I just don't want to see it personally. I'll say no more because this isn't PWEC.

Some movies I have seen in the last couple of weeks:
1) "Black Christmas" - 1974 horror classic. Great movie. I can definitely see where Wes Craven drew a lot of inspiration from when he created his later films, such as Scream. *** out of ****
2) "Tower Heist" - Started off funny enough, but enters the realm of ridiculous farce in the latter half. Nothing special, serviceable comedy. ** 1/2 out of ****.
3) "Anna and the Apocalypse" - Christmas zombie movie. They tried so hard, but I often spaced out or wondered when they'd get to the end. ** out of ****.
4) "The Founder" - Ray Crock, founder of McDonalds, portrayed in a docudrama by Michael Keaton. Historical discrepancies aside, Keaton did a great job, as always. I enjoyed the film. *** out of ****.

I think this is the first movie you've mentioned in this thread that I've actually seen as well! I've noticed most of the movies you've mentioned are pretty obscure. Anyway, I saw "Tower Heist" in the movie theater and I thought it was "ok". I quickly forgot about it a week later.

A few years ago I binged watching a movie a day for a few years--something like 900 - 1000 movies, on top of the thousands of movies I had seen previously. So, I have to dig now to find anything to watch, unless I want to watch something I've already seen, which is rare, because I memorize most films and stories the first time I watch or read them.
Also, I dislike post-2010ish mainstream Hollywood productions, for the most part.

I am not cursed with that good of recall of movies, but I generally have to wait at least a year or two between viewings for it to be enjoyable.
