Does anyone know where the voices of the pilot (Switching to rockets, hellfire, stinger, chaingun / hellfire away / hover mode on etc) are located ? I could find other vehicle / weapon soundeffects but couldn't find where the voice wav files are located...

I've had a look on my system and thinks like "Hellfire", "Stinger" and "Chaingun" are in:

cohokum\audio\speech\us\cpg

I'm using 1.16.0

Cheers,

Andy

Which version are you running? The original un-modded version, only had an audio folder, and all the voices are included somewhere within those files, and not separated out

I have patched to 1.16.1 version. Maybe should I downgrade it ?

I wanted to use voices for making custom helicopter in other game.

You can't use the voices in another game, they're copyrighted

Taking them from this game, and using them in your own work, isn't allowed without the express permission of the publisher, and of the modders of this game.

The same applies to any other game assets that you might want to use. Most of the models have been modded in some way over the years, and represent work created or modified by the people that modded. The game is still under licence.

Thanks for explaining it, I thought using other game's sounds for modding won't be a problem because I havr seen many people using other game sounds for modding in games like doom or minecraft and even some EECH sound mods used the soundeffects and voices from janes's longbow 2. But if it's illegal I won't use them.
