I have been hoping that someone would remake this movie using the current world situation and considering the claims of an Israeli Scientist and former General that we are indeed being observed and perhaps in contact with alien visitors. The 63 year old Movie starred Gene Barry who would go on to also star in another science fiction classic, seems particularly nascent today.
Five individuals from five nations, including the "Superpowers" (USA, USSR and China), suddenly find themselves on an alien spacecraft. An alien gives each a container holding capsules. No power on Earth can open a given container except a mental command from the person to whom it is given. Each person has been provided with the power of life and death. Any of these individuals has the capability to instantaneously launch the capsules to whatever coordinates he/she chooses, and each capsule will then eradicate all human life within a 3,000-mile radius of its designated location. Considered to be one of the most intelligent science fiction stories to be filmed it can be seen on You Tube in it's entirety. If you are a sci-fi fan and you have never seen it, you should take the time to watch it
