I can't open it, what's it do?

The last small patch seemed to make it run significantly smoother and included some "quality of life" tweaks.

allows you to remap the interaction key ,a remapable key to walk on pc or drive slower, and removed dash from double taping and allow it to be mapped, default alt left.
what is wrong with the link ? even logged out i can see it. search for( E to Interact - V to Walk and Drive - Dedicated Dodge)

It wasn't working but is now thanks.

If anyone can point me in the right direction without a full spoiler I'd be grateful.

I'm trying to find the relic using the Braindance in Yorinobu's apartment. I thought I'd searched everywhere but clearly I'm missing it. I assume it has to be within signal range of the girl. I'll keep going but I got a bit frustrated with it earlier.

This explain a lot what i mentioned earlier, i ran from the police into this back alley without them seeing me, they got to the end of the street and slowly always looking at me started to go forward but stoped, i used the photo mode and could see their weapons trained at me, when i ID them with cyberware they agro and shot me though wall.

this is the lack of polishment in this game

the burguer is not always conected to the right bone, saw this too with a waitress.
besides all the npcs missing their jugs and beers

to claim the game is gold like this is very unprofessional, even valhalla with all its bugs and glitches is more polished than this.

I'm seeing any of that at over 50 hours in, what are you playing it on?

PC steam version, wich aparently is different version from gog.

at 5:!5 in this video it shows exactly what i meantioned before about the police, guy was about doing gang operation and police is alerted and just spawned behind him causing him to fight them and bringing more police.and the worse thing ? it appears he was saving the police in the ground, so yeah, police is dumb as #%&*$#, i doubt this game even has a faction AI

My eldest Son who is enjoying it without encountering major game-spoiling glitches/bugs so far, tells me that although you can cross-gender equipping your character with, minge, todger and bristols*, the 'woke' are complaining of lack of 'inclusion' as there is no gender reference other than he/she to cater for the gender-neutral or whatever. smile

*Being English I can get away with UK smutty derivations here smile

I've made my first foray back into the Badlands, there's some notable stuff out there but beware if you get into a fight as there's a not a lot of cover in most places compared to the city.

You also need an offroad capable vehicle as you will be forced to drive at a crawl over most of the terrain otherwise.

Speaking of vehicles, I find I prefer motorcycles and the various "hot hatches" for driving in the city, the motorcycles for being able to lane split and park anywhere, and the latter because they are compact, fairly fast yet controllable.

So...

How much is Cyberpunk like GTA?

Is it as limited in ability to interact with the world?

Or is it far more open and flexible, say like a traditional western RPG such as Ultima/Arx Fatalis/Underworld/Prey?

For those unaware, in the Ultima games there are essentially zero "quests" given, save for perhaps the main, single one. Everything else you learn and solve as you explore the world, which your own scope evolves in picture as you venture further and speak with more folks.

Fortunately the only reoccurring bug I've seen is dropped objects and bodies clipping through the terrain and can no longer be interacted with, and even that has only happened maybe 10 times so far.

I haven't played a recent GTA but yeah, Cyberpunk is pretty limited as far as general inactivity, with the vast majority of people and objects are simply there for show.

I feel like they could added more content but it would have cost them most of the console peasant market.

The parkour is a pleasant surprise though, they are some interesting places to explore when climbing, and to take in some stunning views.

its nothing like GTA, in fact they should just disable the police system all toguether.......it has no work behind it.
the game goes out of its way to tell the player cops dont give a #%&*$# about people..............so why is it that when i harm one person without a trauma package the whole distrinct show up spawning out of thin air in your los ? just disable it. it doesnt work and no one will miss it.

CD Projekt Red apologizes for bugs, promises to help with Cyberpunk 2077 refunds

Cyberpunk 2077 to receive bug fixes soon, unsatisfied [Console using] customers encouraged to opt for refunds

The biggest issues are with the last-gen gaming consoles, which are simply unplayable in the current state.

The company today announced it will provide fixes for all platforms [and PCs], which should start rolling out in a week, with bigger patches coming in January and February.

Cyberpunk 2077 Bug Bulldozes AMD Ryzen: Here's a Fix, Tested

the game code significantly harms performance on some AMD processors, because it apparently checks to see if your CPU uses Team Red's 2011-era Bulldozer platform and, if not, limits the number of available threads.

We put the fix to the test with several Ryzen CPUs, including some of the best CPUs, to determine which processors benefit and under what conditions. We logged up to a 23% gain in some Cyberpunk 2077 benchmarks

Basically, the Cyberpunk 2077 development team is using out of date code in their game engine. The article explains that the fix does not always work for all AMD CPUs.

Another bug for the developers to fix.

I started my run, choosing Street Kid for the background. Played about 4 hours and really like it so far. I was happy to find the game runs very smoothly for me. I don't have a cutting edge box, and was worried that this would be the first game to bring it to its knees. But it runs very well. Smooth framerates and looks good. I disabled several graphics settings straight off, like depth of field, film grain and a couple more. Specs are Ryzen 2600, 1660Ti and 16 gigs of RAM. I didn't even update my driver which must be a year old and it all ran smoothly and trouble free. Much better here than I was expecting from the early reports.

Two bugs have struck. One is while walking down the street some of the pedestrian traffic NPCs simply vanish in front of my eyes. And once or twice I saw an object load first as a very low-res version then it instantly morphs in to the high-res version, but you can see it before it does. After all the alarm over the state of the game I must say I was very happy to see it's not so bad after all (so far).

Four hours means I'm still in the prologue, but so far I am digging the gameplay. Voice acting so far is top-notch, the characters are convincing, even if I've only dealt with a couple so far for any length of time. The gameplay seems solid. It successfully pulls me in. Early impressions are quite favorable but there's plenty more lying ahead so we will see where it goes from here. First impressions are vital of course and so far it's been far better than I expected it to be. I'm leaning toward a stealth build, even if stealth is rudimentary. But that's my jam, so we will see how well it plays out in Cyberpunk.

I'm at the stage where the background choice takes the player down a unique path, the Street Kid opening. Along the way I was tasked with stealing a high-end whip. Sneak in, disable the security, and bring it back to the client. But it all went wrong, and I found myself completely in to it. It was convincing and compelling, and the sort of thing that makes me keen to see where Cyberpunk takes me. I had very high expectations for this game, maybe unreasonably so. The early buzz and reviews served to put a bit of a damper on those, but so far I am digging Cyberpunk.

go to a road......look all the way in one direction then make a 180....now do it again......spot the difference ? there is no permanency the cars just like npcs despawn as soon as you are not looking in their direction.
also someone found that pc is using the same configuration as last gen consoles in the config files. changing that helped me a bunch. i can get 39 frames without using the awfull resolution scaling

I take it you haven't yet reached the title card/opening? That took Cohh around 10-11 hours iirc (though he does loot-whore his way through most play-throughs he does so a bit less is reasonable).

I'm liking the writing and acting/scene setting for the most part - though a few scenes are diminished by odd bugs... still. These are fixable, while bad acting, dialogue and a bad story/direction are not...

I love some of the transitions of character development 'shown not told' then reinforced several quests later if you missed them... some being quite subtle but definitely intentional.

Not yet Lieste. Just taking my time. I heard you reach that point closer to six hours in, but if I got ten before then all the better.

I also like the scenes so far, but I must also recognize that the section of the game I am in is the most structured. Once I am cast free to my own devices the real Cyberpunk will reveal itself I think.

Oh yeah, aside from the graphics tweaks I also turned off aim assist before starting.
