Hi,
Just downloaded and ran 160. Looks great. My intention is to fly mostly offline with the occasional try at online if it works out time wise.

Have a few questions though.
Did we do away with padlock and external views? I cant get outside with F9 at all.
I have to admit i enjoyed not being able to lock a target and have to sort threw who was who, much more realistic.
I tried hosting on game ranger and it worked as Jelly said, with a disconnect after start up. but i couldn't exit. I hit esc and nothing happened.

Running the game from the selector works fine offline but i have noticed that when I run the eaw.exe it will not start first try. I have to hit it a second time, and after a session there is still an eaw.exe running when i open task manager. I am running Win7.

Just trying to figure it out.

Dan

1. Many years ago Knegel modified the code to activate or de-activate features based on difficulty level. These included cockpit toggle and external views. I think padlocking was also included but I do not use it so I cannot tell for sure.
If you go to Game-Setup, difficulty and select Combat level you have the choice of "Green", "Veteran" or "Ace". With "Green" you should find that everything is enabled.

2. Alt-Q will exit the game in multiplayer. Alternatively you can hold the Esc down for several seconds

3. Windows 7 runs EAW as you describe.
I do not get those issues in Win 10, but I prefer Win 7 because it gives me a better frame rate, so I put up with those inconveniences.
