You're kidding right? I find that pretty absurd.

Technically you can choose either male or female body build, and then attach either size or penis or a vulva to either, and select mutilated or normal penis, and choose the 'topiary' you wear.

Which is fine, you can also select from a myriad options for tattoos, piercings, cyberware. Everyone is a freak, especially the normie.

And hilariously the trans activists are out in force declaring this (and an advert for 'mixit' "choose your flavour", starring a chick with a dick) to be transphobic. I #%&*$# you not.

Inline advert (2nd and 3rd post)

I have a 2080, it struggled a bit on high at 4k. Reduced it to 1080 and it's buttery smooth.
The only two bugs I've seen so far are 1)occasionally, hair on both my character and NPCs are missing. 2) sometimes in a car I cannot change the camera.

Also, you can change the radio station. There's not too many stations though.

The Star Citizen reddit has some fun memes about the bugs too. [Linked Image]

So circumcised is considered mutilated ?

I don't mean to put words in his mouth, but I think his point is those customizations are absurd. At least that's how I read it.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck.”

Yeah, you are probably right. I thought he was implying I was absurd for questioning it. Coffee hasn't kicked in yet. My apologies.

You would be correct sir!

My son is running it at 1080. Can't wait for him to upgrade to the 3090, I'm getting his rig at a great deal, less than a year old. Looking forward to getting away from my gaming laptop.

No problem. Sometimes communication via the internet falls between the cracks. smile

Cyberpunk 2020 is the new graphically demanding game on the block.

The attached graphs compare all the common video cards at 1080p, 2K, and 4K with ultra settings. One could use this data along with price data to start figuring out which direction to head on a GPU purchase.

Probably won't even run on my 970.

cheers

BTW, from Steam:

Don't pick a circumcised penis if you are a male V.
It locks you out of romance options and characters will mock you in the game.

I can't believe this is even a thing, but it's true. it's truly bizarre CDPR would let such a seemingly minor choice ( for a game) to play a role in the narrative.

Pretty low by CDPR IMO.

I can almost understand the anti circumcision crowd. My son was 6 days old when I took him to get his done. A beautiful happy baby those first 6 days. Did not cry once. It was horrific, the screams and cries. I felt like I betrayed the little guy. It was so bad that I don't know if I could do it again. Thankfully he does not remember it, and I don't have to make that choice. baby making days are over.

Cyberpunk 2077 Had 8 Million Pre-Orders, 59% of Which Were on PC (Biggest PC Launch Ever)

8,000,000 x $59.95 = ~ $480,000,000.

480 million dollars is not all profit -- but, it should go a long way towards paying development costs smile

About 100m of that goes to Steam and other distribution platforms I reckon.

I get done work in two hours. Still not sure if I will dive in, but how will I resist? So many reasons to wait just a bit, but not sure i can.

No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

480 million in pre-order sales is very impressive indeed but as any basic student of business will tell you, revenue and profit margin are two VERY different animals. smile

I believe Steam gets about a 30% cut for each digital copy sold? I could be wrong but I remember reading somewhere that it was about 30%.

As for me, I'll be starting the game tonight and will post my "first impressions" review here after I log about 25 hours of play time.

It runs with my 960M, albeit on low settings, still looks good however.

Anyway, I just got into a hellacious nighttime firefight on the street with a bunch of Tyger Claws, I don't know if it was a scripted event or a possibly glitched random encounter as there were 16 of them.

It was a tough fight as I went into it with my beginner weapons, but now I have a bunch of SMGs and Rifles as well as katanas and tantos.

At one point they destroyed the cover I was hiding behind and almost killed me, so I guess at least some objects are destructible?

Well, I am a battle hardened mercenary, and former nomad scout {who are the fighting elite of the nomad community} also also ex military, if the tattoos are indication, vs a bunch of low level street thugs.

Apparently there is the option of graphic sex scenes. I guess that explains why you might choose a giant unclipped hog.

The next one of you gonks talking about digital dicks is gonna get flatlined!

Anyway so I just had my first boss battle, a side gig as I'm purposely ignoring the main quest, it was supposed to be high difficulty but was easy compared to my earlier fight with the Tyger Claws.

I have to say that they've really nailed the Cyberpunk vibe when you travel around at night, everything's just so dark, dangerous and mysterious.

Still having trouble controlling the vehicles with WASD, many of them are overpowered and the tight confines of the city doesn't help.
