Its the same as wanting a fully thought out dynamic campaign in a flight sim. That's why Falcon to this day is unmatched in terms of flight sims for me. Unfortunately, as with flight sims no one is willing to put the effort in to implement something like that. the rate of return just isn't there.
I'm watching Cohh playing, and just watched Cohh interact with himself in game... and it seems fine so far. Visuals are fine, and performance (on a beefy rig) is solid, with no problems.
Maybe it all falls apart in a later segment, or on potatoes, but so far so fine. (5 hours).
10/10 is an implausible score to me. I'd prefer to see a realistic scoring, where 'the best game evarrrr' is a 9/10 or 9.5/10, with scope for improvement or progression... and that to be as rare as hen's teeth.
It was ludicrous when TLoU2 was getting 10/10 s and it is ludicrous that CP2077 is getting them too, there are bugs and glitches and rough animations (so far only trivial ones, but they are visible in pretty much every scene in unimportant backgrounds... - this could certainly be improved on, and I have seen some better examples of several elements in other games, even though it is still early to judge the overall quality, there is enough on display to see it missed being spot on.
Agreed and actually I didn't even notice the score. And frankly I rarely do aside from PC Gamer reviews where you can't miss it. I read the article and take what I can out of it.
And I think the best game ever IS 10/10 and the rest should scale off that
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!
what they need is make their own ip, all their games were based on work where the background was already layed out for them. Lets see if they have what it takes to actually make a game. and wth is emergent gameplay ? there are walkthrough all over youtube by now, just forget streamers, those guys cant play for #%&*$# and talke too much.. i recoment MKIceAndFire
R Talsorian's Cyberpunk is pretty much the only game in town in this genre, and it would be tough to beat its 32 years worth of "brand recognition" and an already fully fleshed out universe.
I'd also argue that CDPR had a lot of control over the material as the previous Cyberpunk canon only really concerned what was occurring in the years 2013-2045.
I just think its inherently how to pull off a densely populated and detailed urban landscape with a high level of interactivity in an open world game, let alone one with a setting that hasn't really been done before. If CDPR was putting out a Fallout or Stalker type game where most of the game world is ruined and empty, that would have made their job much easier.
TLoU2 is a divisive game and those perfect score reviews were politically motivated. Very hard to trust most reviews nowadays.
Take the TV show "Orphan Black," for example, which I watched due to recommendation here. I have two episodes left, and despite the glowing reviews on IMDB--I mean, we're talking 8s, 9s and 10s, for myself is one of the weakest shows I have watched in the last five years. Very, very disappointing and frankly I could care less how they finish the mess. But, after watching the series, I can see why many of the reviews rated it so highly... And these scores have nothing to do with the quality of science fiction writing or plotting.
My son has been playing the last few hours, he likes it. He said he doesn't think I'll like it. Rap music stations when driving and you can't change the channel. Not sure of the relevance of customizing the size of your dick, how big your pubes are or choosing to be circumcised or not. He KNOWS I find the GTA games juvenile (all the N bombs make me uncomfortable), so he is probably right that I won't like it.

You're kidding right? I find that pretty absurd.

Cyberpunk 2077: Steam Records Over One Million Concurrent Players
Without any doubts, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of 2020, so it is not surprising that as soon as it became available it set a new record for a single player title for the number of concurrent players

Now the developer just needs to patch the game quickly to keep the pitchfork and torch masses appeased.

FWIW: From the Current/Future AMD thread:

Cyberpunk 2020 is the new graphically demanding game on the block.
The attached graphs compare all the common video cards at 1080p, 2K, and 4K with ultra settings. One could use this data along with price data to start figuring out which direction to head on a GPU purchase.
