...or quantum mechanics. I can never keep them straight. Either way, it's my belief that convoys (and maybe trains, too) are made up entirely of quantum particles. You know, the little guys that can pop in and out of existence or change their states at will, but they never do it when someone's looking (a nifty little factor which, conveniently, makes the theory impossible to disprove). Anyway, what I've observed is that convoys can, will, and DO pop up out of nowhere in WOFF. I first noticed this phenomenon while flying British out of Vert Galant last year. My normal landing procedure as flight leader is to circle the airfield low and watch as everyone else lands and I noticed that every time there would be a truck convoy on the road to Arras. Just north of the airfield there's a sharp bend immediately after a short, but fairly steep, incline in the road and I realized that I could never saw them before it. I began to watch specifically, but I still couldn't see them coming up the hill or making the turn. There are several roads that lead up to that point from which they could have been coming so I tried to look as far down them, as well. But after crashing and killing my pilot and a few other close calls I gave up on it and just put it down to timing. Now I'm German and flying out of Douai. The airfield runs northeast to southwest and there's a road probably fewer than 100 meters after it. Near the road and in line with the hangars there is a small stand of trees and I noticed that there was a short column (and occasionally two columns) of tanks heading north along the road every time we'd come in to land. But I never saw the tanks south of the stand of trees. Now, this is a long stretch of road with good visibility in either direction. And it usually takes quite a few circuits of the airfield for the tanks (once there) to move even a few hundred meters. And even though there's rarely anything on the road before I get there, I've NEVER seen them south of that stand of trees. So I submit that, much like the technologies used to create Stonehenge, the Pyramids, Greek Fire, Damascus Steel, and the like...technology that was lost for millennia...Quantum Physics (or mechanics, or whatever) was around, understood, and employed in the Great War, and then lost for nearly a hundred years.

And...if a tree falls in the woods, does it kill the bear under it!... Depends on the size of the tree. And the size of the bear, I guess.

The observed phenomenon being discussed is actually a myriad causal one. Quantum mechanics are indeed involved, specifically the multiverse hypothesis. Entangled pairs are also part of this equation. The logic follows thusly.
In our WOFF universe the sudden and seemingly “out of nowhere” appearance of truck and tank convoys, as well as trains, is the result of a patterned inter-meshing of several adjacent WOFF universes with our own. This inter-meshing occurs in close proximity to aerodromes across the entire WOFF countryside and is relatively static in terms of the locations of existence. It must be further understood that in these adjacent universes the trucks, tanks, and trains are forever there, running in an endless, infinite loop, with each vehicle type in its own respective universe. Now, when, near one of these inter-meshings, there is an energy fluctuation of some significance in our WOFF universe, say the appearance of one or more planes, a unique reaction occurs: There is an instantaneous creation of a finite entangled set of vehicles that immediately splits, with one half of the set remaining in its creation universe while the other half slips through the spot of inter-meshing and grounds its existence in our universe. It should be further noted that this can and will happen with any significant energy fluctuation in our WOFF universe, be it our own plane or those of the AI. This means that such sudden appearances of finite vehicle strings occurs whether we are there to observe them or not. However, until we are actually in a position of observance, these vehicle strings can assumed to be both there and not there at the same time, as per the Copenhagen Interpretation, (i.e. Schrödinger's cat).

blah, blah... (i.e. Schrödinger's cat). To sum it up, it will be solved by WOFF:Not So 2020. or a patch or not. And please stop blaming cats for everything. There's nothing wrong with cats. Except for the two movie versions. Which were terrible. **edit** and yes, I'm binge-watching Archer.
