This year sucks.

My mother-in-law, who has been battling leukemia for the last couple of years, passed away on Friday from COVID.

Today it's my Dad's turn.

My sister-in-law is in the hospital with it, and she is not doing well either.
She's been told she will be getting better, as there will be no more dying allowed this year.

My wife and I are beside ourselves, and our kids are being put through the ringer as well.
2020 can die in a fire.

That's an awful lot to deal with in a short period of time. Words here probably don't matter much. Do what you can for your family.

My condolences.

Living in a country that so far has weathered the pandemic pretty well, but still losing my job because of it, it suddenly becomes rather insignificant when compared to the loss of a life. My thoughts are with you and yours.
