Thanks for the heads up Patrocles. I absolutely love the quality from Criterion. My current Criterion collection consists of several Akira Kurosawa films and a few from Sergei Eisenstein.

Some good deals, unfortunately, most of it says out of stock. Luckily for me, Barry Lyndon isn't. I totally forgot that I have the Criterion "Barry Lyndon" and that one is my most recent Criterion purchase. It's the only Kubrick film I have from Criterion.

I ended up grabbing the Lone Wolf and Cub series and The Grand Budapest Hotel to fill out my Wes Anderson collection. I wanted La Dolce Vita but it is out of stock but says it is available at the local shop (not so local so I will not go there for one item)

I absolutely love “Grand Budapest Hotel”. By far it’s my favorite Wes Anderson film. Yes, he is quite the unique director. I forgot that I also grabbed The Fantastic Mr. Fox on this purchase. Anyone running with a 4K TV? I wonder how well BR scales up if I ever get a 4K TV.

I have a handful of Criterion. Wish I can buy most of them. This one I got in September when it was release is one of my favorite. One of the most influential police procedure crime drama and one of the best film noir. Per WIKI In 2007, The Naked City was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". It won 2 Oscars for best Cinematography Black and White and best Film Editing. It also earn a nomination for best Motion Picture Story writing. Only $19.99 at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Naked-City-Criterion-Collection-Blu-ray/dp/B08B8LS46DThe Barnes Noble sale must be over cos it's $36 https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/dvd-naked-city-barry-fitzgerald/3621363?ean=0715515250917![[Linked Image]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/4f/09/exDfWYGP_t.png) ![[Linked Image]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/37/df/qB0dDROE_t.png)

I havent watch many French movies. I have lots of German, Russian and Japanese films on bluray/dvd but nothing French. I'm actually hard-pressed trying to remember what was the last French-language film I saw. I remember back in the 90's I rented a French film from Blockbuster because ostensibly it was about the Franco-Prussian War but it was not. It was essentially a love story that just happened to be set during the war. I got bored quickly once the single (exactly ONE) combat scene was over.

I havent watch many French movies. I watch this one years and it was weirdest movie ever: Delicatessen https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delicatessen_(1991_film) LOL! I completely forgot about that gem! Probably worth another watch. I'd also recommend this one. Bizarre and totally entertaining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZeWp1D8MlU
