I'm going to do a much smaller pig someday with my brother and serve it to family, but this is just pit master badassedry... Then there's this ostrich cook (which I'd love to do but I doubt it'll ever happen), it's in Russian and more primitive in methods, but it works... (English subtitles available via CC button) I've had ostrich before, it's a red meat that tastes beefier than bison, actually better than some BEEF I've had... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQjG4a3zRFwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCRBKyYSg-U

I didn't know ostrich can be eaten. I heard it tastes just like chicken so don't bother.

ANYTHING can be eaten...
If you are hungry enough.

I didn't know ostrich can be eaten. You haven't tried an ostrich egg omelet? It is Texas size.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Had Buffalo steaks and burgers in Darwin in the late '80's, Water Buffalo. I remember being surprised at how nice the bbq cooked steaks were. Didn't think much of the croc meat though, same with snake, fairly bland eating. Would totally give Ostrich a shot. Ahahaha, I was also in Darwin at about the same time and tried ostrich and a couple others, like Roo and Croc, there, too.

We cooked a whole pig for a family event in the '90s, it was excellent, especially the skin, although you could pretty much feel your arteries harden after each bite.
Back in the mid 2000s I lived near a burger place that offered all kinds of exotic meats, including ostrich, crocodile and even snake, I never tried crocodile or snake but ostrich was ok.
Hands down the best critter I ever ate was tortoise, I think it only cost me $10 for a huge steak, only problem is that it was in Cuba. I'd hate to see what it would have cost pretty much anywhere else.
