8 episodes per season is too short. Unlike many other show-runners, Favreau doesn't believe in padding out the season with poorly developed stories. I infinitely prefer 8 high quality episodes than a season with 20 episodes where half of them are really just fluff and nothing of consequence. You also need to get your mind out of the traditional network tv model where shows used to have 20+ episodes per season. The streaming model is a different animal.
